One time I was browsing pony art, when I saw this. It somehow put the idea of my own multi-headed pony in my mind, but somewhere along the line it also mutated into a different take on the same concept.  
 
Seems that Filigree (my head-canon Spike/Rarity offspring) has some new admirers.  
 
Note that this is not nearly all the sketches that I worked through to get the design nailed down. There’s at least a page’s worth of early designs and notes that I tried and the nixed, and I don’t think I’m quite done even now. I must’ve changed my mind a dozen times just while coloring that full body shot at the bottom. He was supposed to have yellow-orange mane to match the underside of the dragon heads, for one. Even once I was semi-satisfied with the colors, I still felt there was something wrong, and fiddled with it until I decided it was the hairstyle that was bugging me, and removed that forelock he still has in the pencil sketches.  
 
I haven’t come up with a name yet, but it would have to be something with 3 syllables, so then I could refer to each head by one syllable. Suggestions welcome.
