Oh snap……when was the last time I made a normal shining armor….I mean damn. I have made like teen shining armor like when Twilight was a filly but it’s been so long since I made a adult Shining Armor. Has to be 2 years since I last did anything with him on a comic. Not gonna lie but he came out much better than I was expecting going into this comic. :D Completely different tone than my usual comics….IDK but the last 2 of 3 comics have been breaking my norm a little…..I liked it. >:) Muffin a little better hidden this time.
 
 
So yeah besides Shining Armor the last time I think I even made the Crystal Empire type BG was back when the S3 premier happened. What was that like 2 1/2 year now. That’s absolutely insane and honestly for making up a back alley BG numerous time on this comic….and not having a lot of experience on crystal buildings….I am damn proud of this. :thumbsup: These BGs were much better than I could have hoped for. I still say the trickiest thing in a comic is the first panel because it sets up everything….however that first panel I could start with panel 4 or 5 or whatever. The trick for me is getting that first one done cause then I can base the rest of the comic off that one BG. :nod: I don’t know when the next time I will be making the crystal empire type BGs again but hell I can say I did them again.
 
 
Anyway that’s it on this comic. Definitely a different tone and change of pace than the usual EP comic. Completely went 180 on the obvious synopsis on this comic. I had a feeling someone else was gonna try this comic idea for this episode so I wanted to get this one out before anyone else. :P Off to the next comic……I feel bad I haven’t made a lot of Derpy this season….but I got a couple ideas brewing, especially in the off-season.
