Description

My first comic done with and I’m quite happy at how this turned out after a week’s worth of work. It’s pretty much a big learning step for me; just how much effort it would take to make a comic with even a simple story such as this. Some of things I have learned in my classes, namely not crossing the Axis of Action (the 180 rule to those who make movies or animated shorts). Some panels do use the same background, a matter of working smarter not harder.

I also have to thank as well. His comic book page template came in really handy with the save zones should I ever print this.

If I am to do this on a mainstream thing, assuming I churn out a page each week, there are some changes I would do to my workflow, such as drawing a characters body, clothing, hair etc. as it’s own layer so I could change the color easily (it gets very tedious if you draw a character all at once and reach a point of almost finishing the piece). Coloring each part of a character on it’s own layer would also be a good habit too as is planning things out (a script to start).

I should really post both an artwork 2018 meme and an Art Evolution piece, cause I can clearly notice a good change in my art style over the years. And I would love to explore what I can do next, namely the eyes.

While I am aware of the Black Friday Sale on the upgrade from Pro to EX, I am gonna wait a while before another sale comes on again. When I do, it should be easier (in a sense) to make comic books without worrying about just which page goes to which story.
