Well I told you…October is usually Wereluna month so here we go. Time to kick this off with one of 2 Wereluna pics. Every year I try and redo one of my Wereluna pics just to see how much I can improve or polish up the original one from 2012 Dead of Night and my 2013 one Midnight Madness. And in 2015 I will probably see if I can improve this one too. Such is the circle of these pics.
Some people still ask me how Wereluna came about. I’ll tell it again. In October 2011, a LOT of the fandom, which was still growing like crazy at the time, was doing Halloween stuff. I wanted to contribute something to this too but I didn’t have any idea what to do. After a night of thinking, while streaming on a comic, I had the option of ghosts ponies or Wereponies. I went with Wereponies due to it never being done before and I can be the first. I immediately went with Luna without hesitation due to the irony and more fun I would have. After spending 2 nights on her design I decided to give her some Wolf features without going overkill….bulked up body, no accessories, mane, big ears, teeth, eyes, mind of a animal with mix with Lion/wolf roar, kills but doesn’t eat ponies, won’t remember the night before, etc. Just no paws. Hence my I made my Moonlight Terror comics and boom there ya go Wereluna. In March 2012 I revived her with her Season 2 version and since then it’s been a blast to make her about 3-4 times per year. Still learning to polish up the design even now.
Anyway I rambled there a bit. So there you guys go. The first of 2 final Wereluna pics of 2014 till 2015 when I kick her up again. Oh and I do get this question on Wereluna’s size….basically nearly double normal Luna’s size….just don’t take into about all the muscle and bulking up I do with Wereluna. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah I got a comic next week. Oddly enough that comic will be the first Halloween themed comic I ever did.
