ImmortalityWhat does it mean to be immortal?  
I hear this word used quite often and I wonder  
To be an immortal means to never die and to have life everlastingbut that is impossible  
The only way to know if you have everlasting life is to wait until you die; but when you do pass away it means that it isnt immortality but just longevity.  
To find my answers, I started up my research.  
Not too long ago a pony was once bestowed upon her wings by the bonds that she held with her friends.  
For the time being she was happy.  
As she and her friend gone on with their lives, she stayed young but her friends grew older. She didnt care though, she was still happy  
But the gates to Tartaros wait for no pony.  
Earth Ponies bodies return to the soil of which they came from.  
Pegasi are given a ceremonial drifting in the endless sea of clouds.  
Unicorns release their physical forms to become one once more to the great cycle of arcana energy.  
What about the young Alicorn?  
As her friends left her wings started to turn to gray and wither away.  
Her eyes started to grow tired; her body unable to sustain herself.  
She was told to remember, that even though her friends were gone that she still has her memories.  
They said that so long as she keeps her memories, that so long as she does she will be able to keep her friends alive in her heart.  
She did.  
She remembered all of them.  
She remembered their smiles.  
Remembered their laughter.  
Remembered their sorrows.  
Remembered their hugs.  
Remembered their warmth.  
Remembered their adventures.  
Remembered their love.  
Remembered their lives they shared together.  
She remembered everything about them.  
She would never forget her friends.  
She would always keep them in her heart  
What happened to her?  
She passed away.  
She died of a broken heart.  
But she had a smile on her face.
 
What happens to Alicorns when they die?
 
They reunite with their friends
