More art of my donkey character, again drawn by the lovely QChaoz!
“Abulea” means grandmother in spanish, which both acts as a title, a metaphor for her being a motherly caretaker, and a quite literal name. As she’s both very old, and has a lot of grandchildren. “Assetta” doesn’t mean anything in spanish, but it does have multiple meanings. The “Ass” part both references that she’s a donkey- and that she has a particularly huge butt. “asset” also refers to her behind, and it sounds vaguely spanish, doesn’t it?
The main bulk of Burrochica’s military are comprised of donkey bullfighters who fought in the border-wars “When The Cows Came Home” but that conflict is long over, and relations with the cattle-folk of Taurus have reset to a more neutral position.
