Afternoon Tea
It’s a pleasant, sunny afternoon in Canterlot where a small unicorn family takes time to have tea with a young exchange student from Trottingham.

This was painted so long ago that I nearly forgot about it. Looking at it now though I remember it being equal parts fun and frustrating.
And no, I didn’t give Twilight the typical beady, soulless, monochromatic baby pony eyes.
Also, this was painted long before any information on Cadance’s origins came to my attention. So please, don’t bug me about her horn.

One more thing . . . this will be the first painting in a three-part miniseries featuring young Twilight Sparkle.
