Hey everypony, it’s about time I posted more Spyro themed crossover art and I figured I’d use one I actually commissioned last year but never got around to posting. I figure this is a good time for it, what with my New Year’s Resolution to ditch the coomer lifestyle for good and be wholesome-trappy from now on. ^^

This is part of a series I simply called: Dragon Training, which for now is just three parts…I’ve been entertaining the idea of adding more to the concept, if I do I’ll give it a proper series tag and keep you guys updated. X3

Now: It’s time for Spike to learn how to be a proper dragon, luckily for him he has the most radical buddy to help teach him! X3

Spyro is ready to walk his brother-from-another-egg-mother through the basics of dragon combat, so he can learn how to stomp gnorcs, rhinocs and any other bad guys that cause him trouble (probably timberwolves from the Everfree Forest, honestly) with style…skateboard practice will come a bit later I’m sure, once Spike is considered gnarly enough. >//w//<

Years of being a living Princess Celestia-to-Twilight Sparkle fax machine have not only given Spike a natural magical fire without need of a fairy’s kiss, but also much more impressive control over it then a young dragon of his age. The rote efficiency and breathing technique he’s worked out gives him a much greater effective-lung capacity for a dragon of his size.

All in all, Spyro is impressed at his new buddy’s capabilities! A dragon with a flame-potency at least thrice his age, truly adept at torching even the toughest hides or strongest metals! That poor sheep never stood a chance (I’m sure he’s fine though, they always seem to come back whenever dragons aren’t looking). X3

Art is by the hard working and always-busy: BoskoComicArtist, or alternatively here’s another totally unrelated guy called LooneyProject which is TOTALLY NOT an alt-account for the same artist to upload the Warner Bros. Toons related content that she needed to remove from the main account to avoid it getting deleted…no siree. X3
A heartfelt thank you to her for all the hard work and patience through many changing drafts to bring this idea to life. :3
