So, 8th Winter Karaoke Party that happened in Prague, Czech Republic was my first foreign pony convention (or convention in general). I was really nervous, since I’m not the best at using English and even if Polish and Czech languages have a lot in common I was really scared I won’t be able to talk with anybody, or I will forget basic words when somebody tries to talk to me in Czech. But I was prepared, and before the before-party, that happened one day before the con, I got myself a nice piece of paper saying “I don’t speak Czech ;-; but I want a hug anyway” - believe, it worked. Got some hugs, yay. Because only I was a vendor this time I had to come inside before my Polish friends and prepare my stand alone, which went quite well (I’m lying, it was terryfing). Now I had the standard vendor equipment - printer, laminator, markers, even some colored pencils, some food and drinks, as well as my cute Ayza and all that non-important stuff; and my offer remained the same as during Ambermeet - bookmarks, stickers, badges and of course - promarker commissions. Czech bronies are really nice people, so a few sold stickers and one ordered commission later I was finally less nervous than at the beginning of the meet. Quite a shame we couldn’t stay for the after-party on the third day, but we had work and classes, so we needed to get back to Poland quite early to rest before going back to normal live.
And yes, I was poorly cosplaying myself, I mean my pony-self. I still need a horn and a wig for the tail. I’m gonna go full Ayza on the next ponymeet!
