Story - Mrs. Cake Equals Width and Height in Size
In Bangkok, a very well-known ancient city, people have been learning martial arts inside karate classes, popular restaurants with food from the country of Thailand being served to its customers, and elsewhere have been such a busy place.
However, things weren’t so silent for a creature who looks like a horse, but is actually a pony. This mare is known as Mrs. Cake. She was with Mayor Mare, a certain somepony she has known on little occasions throughout her life.
“I didn’t think this potion would be so interesting to get! It caught my attention when we visited that store!” Mrs. Cake told Mayor Mare, being so obsessed with the new potion unaware of what effects it could have on her, whether it would result in her growing or shrinking. “Ponies nowadays just don’t be mentioning about potions, which does upset me a little.”
“Don’t get too confident.” Mayor Mare suggests that Mrs. Cake shouldn’t be acting all hyped up just because she’s into something she has not been thought about before. “I have been seeing myself as a giant a lot more than you have, Mrs. Cake.”
“Still, what does that have to do with anything?” Mrs. Cake asks with a confused look on her face.
Mayor Mare didn’t respond back and she had her mouth literally silent while looking at the people all over, some walking on the streets, some on the sidewalk and some even driving in cars.
“When I drink this potion, I can’t wait to see if it’ll make me grow bigger into a giant or it’ll make me shrink into a tiny pony.” Mrs. Cake says towards Mayor Mare with happiness, looking forward to seeing how the potion will do to her, and if she will be satisfied with the results.
“Hey, wait a minute. Would you mind taking the potion out of the bag so I can see what the color is like?” Mayor Mare wants to see the color of the potion inside Mrs. Cake’s bag.
Kindly Mrs. Cakes shows the potion and Mayor Mare gets a closer look at it. Upon seeing it, the potion looks like pink, and she asks Mrs. Cake a question on what flavor it is, “What flavor do you believe it is? I’m beginning to think it is like strawberry.”
“Oh, yeah, strawberry. That’s the exact flavor I just got for the potion from the store.” Mrs. Cake knew that Mayor Mare was right, as the flavor of the potion turned out to be strawberry.
“Drinking all of it wouldn’t be a bad thing, right…?” Mrs. Cake nervously asked.
“You tell me. It’s you who bought the potion, not me. What I do wanna see though is what effect the potion will have on you and where you will end up afterwards.” Mayor Mare felt determined how positive or negative will have on Mrs. Cake and how the people will react. “Go on, do as you please. But be careful on what happens when you drink that potion…”
“I heard you loud and clear.” Mrs. Cake responded before she drank the whole potion up in five seconds flat.
Feeling unsure of herself upon drinking the entire thing, Mrs. Cake looks at Mayor Mare again, saying, “That really did taste strawberry for real. Still, I don’t even know the results in the process.”
“Try not to panic.” Mayor Mare gives Mrs. Cake some advice on staying calm and not to get all worked up about the potion she just drunk. “I want you to remain calm, keep focus, and don’t lose control. You gotta be on the more positive side!”
Despite her warnings, Mayor Mare realized it was too late and Mrs. Cake started to experience herself growing and growing.
People everywhere react in shock upon seeing Mrs. Cake becoming more larger and she kept on growing until the top of her mane was almost enough to touch a single cloud above her head. Now finding herself extremely huge, Mrs. Cake thinks everything has shrunk, including Mayor Mare.
Mayor Mare was shocked upon learning whether the potion would enlarge or shrink Mrs. Cake, it was eventually the latter. Now, she knows it would be too late to find someone for a potion that can revert Mrs. Cake to the size she was beforehand.
“Whoa! Look at her, she’s enormous!” Some tinies pointed their fingers at the giant-sized Mrs. Cake.
“She’s blocking the whole view.” One man commented on the enormous pony covering him in the darkness from her huge shadow that loomed all over the city.
Not comfortable in what to do next, Mayor Mare takes a look at the people behind her, who are clearly looking at her and a few are blaming her for the cause of Mrs. Cake being so huge.
“Hey, hey, hey! I’m not the who made her so big, alright? Honest! I didn’t do one thing to her. It wasn’t me, I know it wasn’t me!” Mayor Mare nervously said to the people as she tried telling the truth and reason with the tinies that she’s not the one responsible for this.
“Oh, yeah?! Where’s your proof, equine?” One woman wearing a blue shirt and red pants with matching shoes demanded an answer from Mayor Mare on where her proof was.
“You see, me and my friend went to a store and she got herself a potion that eventually made her so huge, and it was the potion that did it, not me. Trust me!” Mayor Mare explained her claim for the tinies on what actually happened.
The citizens somehow understood and believed in Mayor Mare, seeing she has a point. However, they started running from her and her giant-sized friend, already knowing what will end up occurring next.
“No, no! Come back!” Mayor Mare shouted for the tinies to return, but they didn’t listen and ignored her completely.
Mayor Mare looked at Mrs. Cake, who’s still huge, worried about what the giant pony will do now.
“Mrs. Cake, don’t you dare move.” She warned Mrs. Cake not to make a single move with any of her four hooves.
“I can’t just stand still. That would be less interesting.” Mrs. Cake spoke in a very deep, echoing voice, refusing to stay still and not do something while she was gigantic. “Besides, with my size so huge, I equal the true definition of width and height!”
The giant pony raised her front left hoof up first, and then slammed it back on down to the ground with a loud, booming sound, shaking everything that was the closest to her.
Car alarms went off, buildings began feeling the tremors like an earthquake as Mrs. Cake stomped her way through the city, her hoofprints were left behind on the streets and even on some vehicles trampled on in her way. Now unable to control herself, Mrs. Cake kept on walking, damaging or destroying buildings she either knocked over or stepped on with a hoof. Mayor Mare was worried about her friend.
Mayor Mare ran and chased after her enormous-sized pony friend, who kept on walking without stopping.
“This is all my fault!” Mayor Mare regretted letting Mrs. Cake obtaining a growth potion in the first place, which is something she should’ve warned her friend before the latter drunk all the potion without any interruptions. “Stop, stop moving!” She yelled and ordered Mrs. Cake to stop.
“I’m so heavy, I can’t stop myself!” Mrs. Cake told herself as she kept strolling through the city, leaving more destruction and not paying attention to that, either.
Tiring herself out from running and catching up with the very large Mrs. Cake, Mayor Mare couldn’t run any further, otherwise she might wear herself out. She kept on watching the giant pony stomp her way through the city, leaving a mess behind.
“I’m so gonna get it trouble for this…!” Mayor Mare felt guilt within her upon the big situation occurring in the first place. “How am I gonna fix this?” She asked herself seeing that it’s exactly too late to do anything else right now.
