Another 2023 ref to go along with Nuke and Oasis, this time the first of the Ovocon androids to have proper sentience: Five!

Since she’s unable to properly feel emotions, lacking the software, it made sense for her design to lack any method of emoting as well. Her mouth is merely a painted on line, a perpetually neutral expression, to save on cost. Her eyes move around plenty - what little emoting she can do, she does with those.

Sturdy and mostly purposeless beyond “can it be done”, Five can occasionally don a specially crafted ‘OLUR’ (Ovocon Laboratories Utility Ring). It’s fitted with a variety of tools, including laser weaponry for ranged self defense. The ring can spin freely once attached to facilitate the swapping of equipment on the fly.

While she can’t truly “enjoy” things, she does have a tiered system of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ percentages for everything, which she organizes in a way that allows her to communicate her opinions with others. Recognizing an awkward moment may have a slightly higher ‘bad’ percentage than good; being on the receiving end of a sibling prank may be slightly more ‘good’. Somepony threatening her family will be marked as almost entirely ‘bad’, but sitting in isolation and learning the bass guitar is almost entirely ‘good’.
