Here are some still pictures of the Ytong sculpture of Limestone Pie of whom I posted the rotation animations before.
I’m quite happy with how Limestone Pie turned out. Her snout may be a little too broad (and I learned from that for upcomming sculptures of sisters of Limestone), but other than that I am quite happy.
I consider Limestone a character that really should have been given an episode focussed on her. She almost begged for an own episode in the episode “The Maud Couple” where she not only admitted jealousy for Maud having found a special somepony (by fiercely denying jealousy), but also dropping the line: “You look as miserable as I feel all the time!” which is something I feel Pinkie Pie would have definitely reacted to but for her own misery at the time. The episode also shows the rather thoughtful core beneath Limestone’s very rough surface. I really would have loved to see more of it and with Pinkie Pie’s sister days (meeting at some random place with each of her sisters every year) being established in “The gift of Maud Pie”, an episode focussed on Limestone (or Marble) wouldn’t have required a lot of exposition. Personally I would have loved for an episode with Limestone and Pinkie in Griffonstone.
Gilda has a lot in common with Limestone, both in terms of being rather choleric, but also in assuming a responsibility for her home and feeling the (probably exaggerated) need to sacrifice personal happiness for it and hiding any bad feelings about that. I think that could have been the basis for a very good episode. Spitfire too would have been a character who might have had some very interesting interaction with Maud. She too has, a similarly choleric temprament and great responsibility, but in her case perhaps with less unhappiness about it, but also less of a sense for her fellow ponies (given her treatment of Soarin) than in case of Limestone who shows deep concern for her sisters, though less so for anyone not related to her. Both of them could learn a bit about themselves from each other.
