Description

And now here are the griffons during the crystal war timeline.

During the war, most griffons worked as mercenaries and sold themselves to who paid the most (which in most cases was Sombra).

Gilda: She spent her childhood in cloudsdale, so even though she didn’t like ponies very much, she still felt attached to equestria and joined celestia forces.
She lost an eye during a fight and even tough she could still fight, she could never do a very precise shot again, deeply wounded by this loss, she would attack anyone who would aproach her on her blind side without warning her ; on the other hand it allowed her to bond more deeply with her old friend Rainbow dash, as she had suffered something similar and could understand her pain.

Greta: A friend of Gilda who joined the crystal empire, although she did it not out of belief but because Sombra paid well, because of this they left Griffonstone in good terms and promised that if they met on the battlefield they would show no mercy and hold no grudge against the other as they are both only doing their job.
She was employed as an assassin, her tactic was to fly over her ennemies and dive on them at high speed, killing them on impact.
She finally met Gilda again and wounded her but got killed by one of Gilda arrow.

Gabby: An over enthusiastic griffon that had show great skill and could have been a great soldier but couldn’t bring herself to hurt someone so she became a nurse in Celestia army. More than her medical abilities, it’s her cheerfulness that made her extremelly effective, her smile could cheer up even the most wounded soldier.
As there is not many griffons in Celestia army she tend to sticks to Gilda, to the great displeasure of the latter who don’t know what to do with this noisy friend.
