Realize I’m falling behind on projects I want to do.
Spend all kinds of time reorganizing and prioritizing existing started projects to try to get a nice workflow with the goal of making something every 7 to 10 days
Peruse some animation focused channels on YouTube
Get inspired by some animation motions
Take an hour and sketch out some cycles and become enthralled by the magic of bringing something to life on my screen.
Sink another few hours cleaning up the motion from my allotted drawing time
Because I’ve already sunk a few hours into it I throw out all the work I did planning decide to make this the project of the week
Picks one of the most visually complicated characters I’ve made
Tries to add some other motions to the first one to make it more interesting. Some work, some don’t.
Spends sizeable parts of a couple of days alternating between being enchanted by the magic of animation and dispirited by how many things need to be done or fixed
Stumbles across the finish line. Gets ready to post. Finds two mistakes. Grumbles. Fixes. And is back here.
WILL NEVER LEARN XS
This is why I’ve so many things to finish. But did learn a bunch more animation tricks.
