Hey everyone,
Welcome to another instalment of the Random Character Art series, wherein I redesign a character from my roster that has never been depicted here before, and today, it was the turn of Aguas Bravas: one of a very small number of ponies that have evolved to be almost fully aquatic, and live in underground rivers and lakes in one area in Equestria.
Aguas is currently exploring Equestria, and is currently in the forest Town of Sire’s Hollow, birthplace of Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst, and now home to the remnants of the Nightkin species of deer. Here, like in many other Equestrian towns, she has been welcomed warmly and accepted for who she is.
Inquisitive, curious, and given to being deeply understanding and respectful , Aguas tends to be well liked in most places she has been, only having bad experiences with the more racist elements of Equestrian society- but even that doesn’t bother her overly much.
She has a purely pescatarian diet, and cannot eat fruits or vegetables at all due to the way she has evolved. Aguas CAN occasionally eat other meats, but this is exceedingly rare.
As an additional note, the “whiskers” on the side of her head are her gills for water-breathing in the same manner as an axolotl. The only real hair on her body is the mane on her head, the rest of her skin has a thin layer of very fine hair, giving her an almost velvety feel.
