Espolón Compuesto is a 31 year old earth pony mare who was born and raised in Maredrid, and now lives in Baltimare and works as a machinist and mechanic who specialises in gearbox repairs and rebuilds. She works mainly for the Royal Equestrian Railway service on diesel locomotives imported from Earth. Chatty, friendly, garrulous, intelligent, and with a self-deprecating sense of humour, Cog, as her friends call her, is seen as a mare that can get things done quickly and efficiently.

Espolón is never one to cut corners when working on anything, and you can guarantee that everything she works on will be done safely, on time, and by the book. Despite how fastidious she is regarding her PPE and her excellent standards of personal hygiene, she has a slight scent of gearbox oil that sticks with her no matter what she does to cover it up. In her own words, she jokes that she is a greasy cow, or, “vaca grasienta” in her first language.

(It is specufically noted by the Bureau, that Espolón Compuesto is utterly fluent in standard Equish, no matter how ardent she is in her assertations to the contrary. For human readers of this report, she speaks with an elegant, almost musical accent that can be likened to an Equestrian version of Spanish.)

As hard working as she is, she loves to party with her friends, and is partial to red wine for her beverage of choice, and as well as having quite the sweet tooth, Cog has also taken to Equestrian fast food, absolutely loving hayburgers and fries- within reason, of course! Pictured here without her overalls and toolbelt, this is how most people or ponies will see her.

Physically, Espolón Compuesto is of good health and fitness, and is of average strength and stamina for a earth pony mare- and is notably dextrous with her mouth and her hooves. She is a little under average size for a unicorn mare, and is 3 feet and 9 inches, or just over 114 centimetres tall, and 75 pounds, or just under 34.20 kilogrammes in weight. Apart from her heavy-duty overalls that she wears while working, the only other item she regularly wears is a ribbon that she ties her long mane back with.

Cog is, despite having been brought up as a child of members of the Harmony Cult, not a religious mare, and now couldn’t care less about gods, goddesses and other deities. However, her atheism is a personal and private thing, and she does not think less of those who observe a faith, and neither does she try to debunk religions. Religion is just not her cup of tea, and she instead puts her faith in herself her friends, and her tools

At her brick-built Baltimare home, she has a personal workshop where she is slowly restoring a John Deere Model R tractor that she imported from Earth as a personal project. Here, in her very well equipped workshop, she is painstakingly fabricating the numerous mechanical parts that she requires. Any electrical components she needs are simply imported from Earth. Many of her friends have pitched in with this project over the years, and it is now nearing completion.

When it comes to more personal matters, Espolón Compuesto is bisexual, and does not consider the species of a potential partner to be an issue so long as they are physically compatible with her. Neither does she consider looks or wealth to be important. What she wants, more than anything else is to be with someone that is honest, respectful, and truly gets her. If a partner can fulfil those loose criteria, then she would be happy to see where fate takes her.
