Original Description:

I wanted to do something related to Glimmer’s father (Firelight), in my AU, Starlight’s father suffers from a type of depression that causes him to be very absent from his little daughter’s childhood, so to get away from that, he looks for a job as full-time town librarian. Can you guess why he took such harsh action? I like the idea that Starlight was a very lonely girl and it caused her to be very afraid if her best friend Sunburst walked away from her.
