Thought so. Well, that’s how this world works. Saving one means killing another. Ants are not really individuals, the whole colony is rather the united “animal” and separate insects are its limbs. So the queen losing a few hundred ants is about the same as us losing a few thousand hairs during a haircut. Living cells just fulfill their function and then… fall off. Does that make you feel better?
