Pearl Violet is a 25 year old unicorn mare who was born and raised in Trottingham, and now lives in Ponyville. She works in Ponyville General hospital as a nurse, and is well regarded as a conscientious and hard-working mare. She is a deeply religious mare, and was an early convert of the Equestrian sect of the Catholic Church. (Catholicism is one of the many faiths that have become adopted throughout Equestria since the Portals to Earth opened.)
Pictured abouve without her typical uniform, Pearl is understood to be a friendly and intelligent mare with a markedly self-deprecating sense of humour. Pearl is content and happy with the life she has carved out for herself. She owns a small, thatched roof cottage towards the eastern edge of Ponyville, which she has had extensively modernised internally.
Her faith is strong and unyielding, though she would never deign to try and convert others to her religion, as she sees that sort of thing as none of her business, and she would never tolerate the idea of meddling in the affairs of others.
As mentioned in the above quote, she loves to explore nature in her free time, and will often be found out in White-Tail Woods on her days off. Here, she has made friends with some of the deer that call that quiet section of woodland home.
Physically, Pearl is in good general condition for an adult unicorn mare, and has no chronic or long-term illnesses of any kind. She is somewhat taller than average, being 4 feet and 5 inches, or almost 135 centimetres tall. She weighs in at 69 pounds, or approximately 31.3 kilogrammes.
Magically, Pearl is a above average, having roughly equivalent abilities to Rarity, and also having a very firm grasp of precision telekinesis. Naturally, she knows an extensive repertoire of medical spells as well as the normal spells as taught to all young unicorns.
Pearl does not drink alcohol or smoke at all, and eats healthily for the most part- though she has a notable hankering for glacé cherries as a snack. She also has a fondness for raspberries and blueberries. We at the Bureau have been informed that her favourite cake is Black Forest Gateaux.
Within her well appointed cottage, Pearl has a lot of bookcases filled to the brim with tomes of many kinds. Though she does have a lot of medical manuals, and a number of appropriate spellbooks, the vast majority of her books are crime thriller and mystery novels.
When it comes to more personal matters, Pearl Violet is a heterosexual virgin and currently single. She cares not about the species of a potential partner, but she deeply values honesty and integrity in a suitor, as well as a sense of humour.
We are also told that she loves physical affection so long as its an appropriate time for such things- ear scritches, headpats and tummy rubs all being rather appreciated by her.
