Decided I would start uploading a decent chunk of my backlog of older art! I’ll be starting with all of the things I’ve made for the little Caballo Bay project I was working on.

Apple Pop is a distant, West Coast cousin of the Apple Family. He only lives in Caballo Bay around half of the year, spending the off seasons in Las Pegasus. Using a modified recipe of the Apples’ famous cider, he managed to corner a niche market in sodas. While most of his duties lie in business, he does enjoy overseeing the few apple orchards on CaBay’s outskirts. Friendly but often smug, he’s not as neighborly as the rest of his kin. He has no shame in admitting that his cousins and such are easier to talk to, and often even exaggerates their greatness: afterall, if they look good, he looks good. He has a few close apprentices, all who he encourages to learn the basic processes and to craft their own recipes.

This guy was a blast to design! Every single one of Apple Pop’s colors was colorpicked directly from images of real apple sodas. A few standouts include two different apple-flavored Fantas, and one called Mundet (which I quite like IRL).
