When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 27 - The Mean Pony of Venice
Summary: Twilight Sparkle and her friends encounter a giant evil Starlight Glimmer coming from another timeline, who attacks the residents in Venice, Italy.
On a sunny afternoon, Twilight Sparkle and her five famous friends she has known are visiting the beautiful Venice, located in Italy. As they continue walking through the city where the sun is shining, Pinkie Pie starts getting herself in a dancing mood as she hears the sound of the music coming from people playing guitars.
“Wow! I didn’t know you’d be dancing already, Pinkie.” Fluttershy watches Pinkie Pie dancing in front of her and the rest with excitement.
Except for Pinkie Pie herself, the other five ponies see people playing instruments with violins, mandolins and the cellos. Several residents are dressed in traditional clothes as they still play folk music for visitors who are visiting the country.
“I guess she loves Italian music.” Twilight Sparkle told her friends, finding Pinkie Pie has interest for the beautiful music people of Italy often play, which has caught her attention.
“Oh, I bet you all she just gotta get into the swing of things!” Applejack said with excitement, suggesting that Pinkie Pie should dance to folk music more often. “This country’s just has so many things going on that I think you ponies would be interested in!”
“Now that you mention it, I’ve heard they have gondolas around this place where we can ride on.” Rarity told her friends.
Pinkie Pie stopped dancing and catch up with her friends, although she is still excited with a big smile on her face. “Yeah, yeah, YEAAAAAAAAAH!” She bounces up and down with more happiness.
“That dancing and music must be having you all fired up, huh?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“I can say that I am really excited that people puts me in a good mood when I listen to the sound of music wherever I go.” Pinkie Pie replied back, imagining that one day she may try some more folk music with her friends, and maybe even on her own, too. “Italy, you make me proud!”
The ponies admit that Italy is a lovely country and everything looks amazing today.
“Now, about the gondola thing you were talking about from just a couple minutes ago…” Rainbow Dash pays her attention towards Rarity, who seems to be thinking about gondolas still.
“Since there’s six ponies together, I must say we shall split into three, therefore, we can ride two gondolas.” Rarity plans on being in a group with two other ponies she is with at this time.
All ponies all agree and nod positively, believing that Rarity’s idea will turn out fine for them. But, even still, they feel happy until the ground below was shaking a little. This also resulted in the people pausing the traditional Italian folk music to figure out what the commotion was all about.
“Okay, if it’s a giant pony anywhere in this city, I’m gonna be kicking that monster outta this city!” Rainbow Dash groans with frustration as she was already knowing that another enemy at such a large size might be in Venice.
The ground shook louder this time and people started panicking and fleeing as an explosion occurred from nearby buildings that soon ended up being destroyed.
“Everyone, run and move as fast as you can because we have a giant pony spotted in the city!” One male citizen warned everyone to start running as a giant evil pony is attacking.
“Sir, come back please!” Twilight Sparkle shouted as loud as she could in an attempt to bring the man back so she could ask him something, but he kept on running along with the other citizens, panicking and fleeing all over Italy.
The Mane Six saw an enormous shadow that was covering them in the darkness. They turned around and they all screamed in terror, as a giant unicorn was stomping, crushing and destroying buildings in the wake of her destruction, both with her magic and with her hooves. Her name was Starlight Glimmer. This giant evil unicorn comes from another timeline where she is still a villain having her original mane as well.
Starlight’s dark red eyes soon feared everyone in the city. Any humans who looked directly at her dark red eyes ran away while she approached them further with loud hoofsteps.
“Damn, you gotta be kidding me!” Rainbow Dash puts her hoof on her forehead in shame that she was right, and it was indeed what she predicted the whole time. “An evil Starlight Glimmer from another timeline? Very ridiculous!”
Evil Starlight Glimmer fired her magic at several buildings from different directions as she walked past the St Mark’s Campanile building, which was still standing.
“The day has come where the real world falls under my rule and I will make everything equal like the way it should be!” Dark Starlight Glimmer said as she keeps stomping through the streets, leaving more massive hoofprints behind while she looks at her destruction, which is coming out real good. People are dying and suffering from this.
“Why the hell do we gotta deal with another Starlight Glimmer that is entirely evil?!” Rarity asked with an angry look on her face.” I mean, it was already bad enough the Starlight Glimmer from the main timeline was a villain before she found redemption after learning what friendship is.”
“Still, we have no choice except fight this unicorn at stop her from turning this city under her rule like she has control over Venice!” Twilight Sparkle told her friends as they all run and stop the giant evil Starlight Glimmer, who is from her own timeline.
“I seriously don’t like this…” Fluttershy was nervous about the current task, which is always the same, nothing different.
Dark Starlight Glimmer was very proud that she finds the tinies being nowhere enough to stop her from destroying the city any further, and soon she may find that the city will be hers once she kills more people and wreaks havoc even more.
“Stomping is such a good thing for giant ponies, just hearing the people dying and screaming until they realize that nobody can save them from me. All humans must be erased! Venice is gonna my city once I take control over Italy! All of it!” Dark Starlight Glimmer evilly laughed.
“Not if we got something to say about it!” Twilight Sparkle yelled from down below.
“Hmm?” Dark Starlight Glimmer stops herself from walking and raises her front left hoof up and looks down, seeing that Twilight Sparkle and her friends are in her way, preventing her from doing whatever she wants.
Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash all have themselves prepared for a fight with the evil Starlight Glimmer coming from a different timeline.
“Alright, spill the beans! We know you are working for Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon!” Pinkie Pie told Dark Starlight Glimmer, figuring out what is going on right now.
“You are such a smart pony, since you already have known that I’m doing favors for the corrupted alicorns!” Dark Starlight Glimmer cackles loudly as she was helping Daybreaker and her sister with exterminating the humans. “With the dark magic and its power inside me, I’m more powerful than ever!”
“Enough talk! We will shut you up real quick!” Applejack swore she will close Dark Starlight’s mouth with everything she has.
“Shut me up? Oh, I’d like to see you try.” Dark Starlight Glimmer mocked Applejack’s words, not even feeling offended at all, keeping herself in a calming mood still. “You all wanna challenge me? Now’s the time you do whatever you can before you all die!”
It is the worst day the citizens residing in Italy could have ever experienced that a giant evil pony would attack and destroy Venice and kill people. It was a complete and utter massacre!
“Time for battle!” Twilight Sparkle ordered her friends to stay behind her and fight giant Dark Starlight Glimmer and work together if they want a victory. Otherwise, things will go the opposite way around.
The Mane Six charged at Dark Starlight Glimmer, working together.
“Come on, Starlight! I’m gonna kick your ass real hard!” Rainbow Dash came forward with an attempt to kick Dark Starlight Glimmer with her hooves.
“I’m afraid you can’t even lay a scratch on me, even if you tried the best at kicking me that hard I can’t be pushed that far.” Giant Dark Starlight Glimmer said, stopping Rainbow Dash with her magic, preventing her from trying to kick her anywhere.
Starlight Glimmer threw Rainbow Dash towards a building using her magic, damaging her hard that Rainbow Dash could barely keep herself standing.
“That sure does hurt…” Rainbow Dash stood up feeling all dizzy after hitting a building.
“Hey, leave her alone, you big bully!” Applejack shouted at Starlight Glimmer, deciding she should go up next. “Go pick on somepony a size like yours!”
Dark Starlight Glimmer giggled and replied, saying, “So much with words coming from the cowgirl, how about you try dodging these bullets? I’m gonna do some beam barrage and I’m gonna see if you can handle it!”
Applejack jumped out the way as Dark Starlight Glimmer fired multiple magic beams at her and her friends.
“I won’t stop until I kill one or more ponies!” Dark Starlight Glimmer keeps shooting more beams from her horn, still taking aim at the remaining five ponies as Rainbow Dash is not available for help.
“I can’t believe this Starlight is perhaps the powerful Starlight Glimmer we’ve ever confronted, Twilight!” Pinkie Pie told Twilight Sparkle.
“She is, and she’s ferocious and a power-hungry pony who’s seeking for more power.” Twilight Sparkle responded, knowing that the Starlight Glimmer from another timeline is completely more stronger in contrast with the current Starlight Glimmer. “She just won’t let us live. We must stay on guard, concentrate, and focus with her attacks.”
Pinkie Pie nods as an agreement with what Twilight Sparkle says as she, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy avoid Dark Starlight’s dangerous techniques for as long as possible.
“Stop moving, damn it! Stay still so I can kill you all!” Starlight Glimmer screamed in rage, fed up with the five ponies getting with avoiding death.
“Never!” Fluttershy denies Dark Starlight’s words, standing up to her.
“Fine then. I’ll just target you next instead, Fluttershy!” Dark Starlight Glimmer fires another magic beam at Fluttershy.
Rarity reacts in shock as she sees Fluttershy about to be struck in a single blow from Dark Starlight’s magic. “I gotta help her before she ends her life forever!” She said, doing whatever she can and save a friend she cares for.
“Don’t do it, please!” Twilight Sparkle warned Rarity not to get in the way.
However, it was too late as Rarity levitates Fluttershy using her magic just in time right before Dark Starlight’s magic beam nearly touched her hooves, sending Rarity back.
Rarity fell and laid on the ground, hurt. Although she still has such strength so she can continue fighting, Fluttershy was angered over what she just witnessed and she promised Dark Starlight Glimmer that she will stop her.
“ENOUGH!!!” Fluttershy yelled as she flapped her wings and charge at Dark Starlight Glimmer with the fastest speed possible.
Unfortunately, when Fluttershy came closer, Dark Starlight slammed her down with her front right hoof. Dark Starlight laughed at just how weak Fluttershy really is.
“I told you that you should never defy evil giant ponies, but nopony even bothers listening, and you all are asking for a death wish.” Dark Starlight Glimmer promised all the ponies that they will be destroyed for not obeying her as she has more power at this state.
“Sorry, but not one pony’s gonna be dying today!” Pinkie Pie said, running towards Dark Starlight Glimmer.
“Pinkie, wait for me! Let me help you out on this one!” Applejack catches up with Pinkie so that both can do the job with an all-out attack against Dark Starlight Glimmer.
Dark Starlight Glimmer fired another magic beam at both Pinkie Pie and Applejack, sending them back away. She couldn’t take it anymore fighting with Twilight Sparkle and her friends, as they are just wasting her time and ruining her from destroying the tinies and the city itself.
“Well, looks like you are the only left.” Starlight Glimmer told Twilight Sparkle seeing that she is the last heroine standing. “What will you do, hmm?”
“You’ll see because I got a surprise for you. A big one!” Twilight Sparkle replied, promising Dark Starlight that she has a thing hidden up her hooves that she might show her like nothing before now.
Twilight Sparkle began powering up, gaining some rainbow power as her mane and tail started having a yellow color added into it. Her wings have more purple and pink added for her wings, and her cutie mark changed with more sparkles, and some with few other color near the bottom of her hooves, too. Twilight Sparkle activated her rainbowfied form.
“What is that? You believe it’ll work on me?” Dark Starlight Glimmer asked.
“This is my rainbowfied form, and I have so much power inside me, I’m gonna defeat you with everything I got!” Twilight Sparkle answered, flying herself way high into the air where it is the best choice she can defeat Dark Starlight Glimmer.
“Try whatever the best you can, you have more power doesn’t change anything and proves only futile on giant ponies such as myself.” Dark Starlight Glimmer said.
“I wouldn’t be so sure.” Twilight Sparkle told Dark Starlight Glimmer, letting her know that her rainbow powers are something more powerful. “When I’m like this, it gives me a tremendous boost in power and you’ll find that soon enough!”
Twilight Sparkle places her front hooves above her head, filling up her magic where she created a huge magic ball that can effect giants.
“N-No… What is that…?” Dark Starlight Glimmer asked with a confused expression.
“This is what I call a ‘Magic Bomb’ and this will finish you off, no matter how big you are! This is the end!” Twilight Sparkle shouted throwing her special attack against Dark Starlight Glimmer.
Dark Starlight Glimmer reacted in shock as she was not expecting something like this at all. She tried stopping the huge attack with just her hooves, but it did nothing, as soon the large magic ball struck her hard, damaging her.
“No, I’m the most powerful Starlight there ever was! I can’t be defeated like this!” Dark Starlight Glimmer said her last words before she was finished and collapsed, eventually shrinking back to her regular size the darkness within her faded away.
Twilight Sparkle sees that her super special attack finished Dark Starlight Glimmer and soon she sees her rainbow powers disappearing, changing back to her normal self again.
The other five ponies got back up on four hooves and hug Twilight Sparkle, knowing that she was the heroine who could save Venice from being destroyed entirely.
“You did it, Twilight! You really did it!” Fluttershy praises Twilight Sparkle for showing her rainbow powers and used it to defeat the evil Starlight Glimmer that came from another timeline. “You saved the city and saved the citizens! Peace is back at last… Oh, what couldn’t have been better if it wasn’t for you…?”
“And my, you always impress us when you put in all the hard work you’ve been putting into, darling.” Rarity said, still seeing Twilight Sparkle as a strong heroine who gets stronger everyday.
“We always can count on you!” Rainbow Dash told Twilight Sparkle, keeping her trust for the latter she is the one pony she wants for backup during battle.
“Nothing can stop Twilight from winning as long as she shows the baddies her powers and transformations that can defeat evil giants!” Pinkie Pie knows Twilight Sparkle can’t be defeated for as long as she use any of her strongest and powerful power-ups.
Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy all look at the unconscious Dark Starlight Glimmer, who was laying on the ground, unconscious with her mouth open and eyes closed.
“Everything’s alright, girls. She’s not gonna wake up.” Twilight Sparkle told her friends.
“Good. Guess that means we can resume having fun elsewhere?” Pinkie Pie asked, wondering if anypony else is still in the mood for a different exciting activity.
“I still wanna ride on a gondola like we have promised from earlier.” Rainbow Dash votes herself for the gondola. Soon Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack agreed with her as well.
Pinkie Pie was surprised that all ponies are looking for a ride on the gondola.
“Eh, I suppose we can go with that…” Pinkie Pie shrugs, as she does not even mind, letting it happen anyway. It would help have a better day from the rest of today.
The Mane Six all walk together with happy expressions as they celebrate another victory.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in an unknown location somewhere up in the sky, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are riding a ship that Daybreaker has recently made. The name of this ship is known as Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon 5000.
“So it appears that Twilight and her wretched friends have defeated the Starlight we got from another timeline.” Daybreaker was not happy with the news she’s been hearing from earlier.
“Why do they always be so victorious?” Nightmare Moon asked Daybreaker, failing to understand why Twilight Sparkle and her friends keep winning and defeating anyone who was placed under her sister’s control. “This is outrageous. We gotta step in and catch those fools! We can’t just sit here and do nothing!”
“No. We are not dealing with the Mane Six. At least not just yet…” Daybreaker said, deciding she and Nightmare Moon shall wait until she feels like it is the right time she has some business with the others. “Even still, Starlight and Sunburst can never capture us!”
With their plans foiled as always, Nightmare Moon was still thinking about something.
“Sister.” Nightmare Moon walked closer towards Daybreaker, giving her a suggestion that they she like.
“Yes, Nightmare Moon? Something excellent you’ve came up with?” Daybreaker asked her younger sister, hoping that this was a great thing she wants to know. “Come on, tell me. I’m always interested in whatever you gotta tell me…”
“I feel like we have the next pony that might help us with exterminating the humans, and we have another villain that will help us with that favor.” Nightmare Moon replied, letting Daybreaker know that she has her idea coming real good.
“Perfect. Now that you mention it, I suppose this isn’t such a bad idea.” Daybreaker laughed as she actually agrees with what Nightmare Moon suggests.
Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon continue riding on their ship as they plan on finding another villain who can help with eliminating all the humans around the real world, and they will give this next villain very extensive power when they are given the dark energy, along with its magic and powers.
But who might this next villain be?
