Name: Silent Apple
Gender: Stallion
Pony: Earth

Shy is, as his name puts it, the silent apple. He is like both of his parents, timid. Although Fluttershy can be a bit more forward at times, Shy takes after his father, normally sticking to one word and only using sentences when he’s mad or upset. He loves spending his time outdoors and can normally be seen enjoying himself the most when he is around Sap, Tippi and Blu. Most days, he spends his time with Sap on the farm. Nopony knows whether or not he likes his farm chores because he never complains. He loves being in company of woodland critters and can, up to some extent, understand them.

Shy has a curious relationship with his father. They don’t talk much and when the eat at the table, or anywhere for that matter, it can get pretty quite. Thankfully, this “quiet” is a comfortable one and not one that can get awkward or even tedious. They can communicate nonverbally, normally understanding each other by looking at each others facial expressions. He prefers spending alone time with his father because that is when he learns the most: new things about Big Mac or how to manage and harvest the farm.

His mother loves to baby Shy. Shy doesn’t mind, although he can get embarrassed when others see them. Public affection is definitely a no-no. He feels that although he can’t exactly stand up for what he believes in or give opinions, he is a big colt and can manage on his own. Nevertheless, Shy loves spending time with his mother while she cares for woodland creatures. He also loves sleeping next to his mother while she sings to him, although he doesn’t share that with anypony except Sap.
