When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 25 - When Lightning Dust Attacks Berlin
Summary: Rainbow Dash and her friends visit Berlin and are shocked when they find out that Lightning Dust is huge and is attacking the city. However, Rainbow Dash must be careful because if Lightning Dust strikes her from behind, she might not last long.
It was nighttime in Berlin. Everything was just the usual, regular routine for the citizens during this night, but for Twilight Sparkle and her friends, they are on something different where they must be aware for any evil giant that might be approaching soon, and it may even occur quicker.
“We are all together as six ponies once again in a while! Ooh, this is the perfect time where we should do something fun while we are in Berlin, girls!” Rainbow Dash said with excitement.
“Good thing Starlight and Sunburst are tracking down Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon.” Rarity felt relieved that she and her friends sent Starlight and Sunburst after the two evil, corrupted alicorns, who are still on the run.
“Meanwhile, we must keep an eye out for any evil giants because they could be anywhere around the city.” Twilight Sparkle warned her friends that an evil giant pony might end coming near and it doesn’t take that long for any giants attacking the city at any moment when Twilight Sparkle and her friends are visiting any city across every country.
Fluttershy is, however, acting like her usual self, shy and silent as the group are still walking through the streets in Berlin.
“Somepony’s so shy right now.” Pinkie Pie looked at Fluttershy, who was smiling, still not even saying anything. “Hey, I know you feel all calm and everything, but can’t you see yourself enjoying fun like the rest of us?” She asked Fluttershy.
“Why, yes… I am.” Fluttershy replied in her usual tone.
Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash look at each other over Fluttershy being her shy and timid self, since it is who she is.
“She sure is shy, but then she will realize that she’s gotta act more confident whenever a giant, an evil one, comes around the corner.” Applejack tells Rarity and Rainbow Dash, who both nod and agree that Fluttershy must be more brave for battle once danger approaches.
“Talk about some serious words from you, cowgirl!” Rainbow Dash said, listening to what Applejack said about Fluttershy, which was important. “But I get what you’re saying!”
“Fluttershy, dear, are you keeping yourself prepared for another fight against the next giant?” Rarity asked Fluttershy, placing her hoof around the latter’s neck and make sure she was understanding the things she has heard so far.
“Don’t worry, I’m all confident and fired up!” Fluttershy said in a more assertive tone.
The five ponies all feel that as long as Fluttershy is brave and confident as they are, they can win the fight no matter what it takes, especially with strategy being used.
Even still, night was no different from any other time the day. Rainbow Dash looked up at the sky where the moon is appearing, and she still remained alright that nothing can stop her and her friends from losing the war against the giant evil ponies and non-ponies.
“Anypony wanna go try some fashion somewhere around this city while we still can?” Rarity asked her friends, putting herself in a mood where she would like to try on some clothes at a clothing store.
“Aww, yeah!” Everypony shouted in an agreement with Rarity.
“Follow me, darlings!” Rarity said, leading all the ponies behind her so they can reach for a store where they can try some fashion, much to their delight.
Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle all run through the streets searching for a fashion store in Berlin. Unfortunately, the shouting and panicking coming from the citizens stopped them.
“Ugh, now what?” Applejack asked in confusion, not understanding what is going on while she and her friends watched the citizens fleeing, panicking and screaming all over the place.
Multiple people have screamed in terror as an enemy was approaching the city more and more closer. Twilight Sparkle and the gang felt like something dangerous and threatening is coming, just as they predicted from minutes ago.
“Run, there’s a wicked giant pony attacking the city! Run, run run!” Shouted one woman with long blonde hair in a purple dress. “She’s coming this way!”
“She’ll kill us all! Get outta here!” A man yelled as he kept running, escaping from this cruel, malevolent giant pony.
“Who’s coming?” Fluttershy wondered who the citizens are talking about.
Pinkie Pie heard the ground below her hooves shaking and she can already tell why the situation is getting out of control. She felt the ground shake even more louder. She turned her head back and saw a giant pegasus, who looked very familiar.
“Look, it’s her! The menacing, devious Lightning Dust!” Pinkie Pie shouted, pointing her hoof at an evil Lightning Dust, letting her friends her know that the enemy is finally here.
The Mane Six react in shock as they saw the giant-sized Lightning Dust stomp through the city with extreme booming sounds with her hooves, shaking the ground and crush anything in her path, leaving buildings damaged and destroyed and she was definitely in the mood killing humans, but she also kill anyone who would dare get in her way.
Lightning Dust was really large and she appeared with dark red eyes, firing eye beams at random buildings, which collapsed and fell.
Several tinies on the streets tried getting away from the giant evil Lightning Dust as she was targeting every single one of them, promising them that they will all die one way or another.
“Never escape, never turn back because I, Lightning Dust, will destroy you all!” Lightning Dust laughed evilly as she crushed vehicles under her huge hooves. “With darkness taking control over me, I have more power and strength! I’m unstoppable!”
Rainbow Dash was shocked as she saw her arch-nemesis, Lightning Dust, becoming more powerful than her thanks to the evil alicorns transforming Lightning Dust into a giant and give her more power where she would go beyond Rainbow’s level, like she always wanted.
“What the hell?!” Rainbow Dash shouted in anger, feeling very upset that she saw Lightning Dust even though she swore she would avoid her once again.
“Damn, that’s the pony who had us stuck in a tornado a long time ago!” Applejack recalls the time when Lightning Dust made her and the rest trapped in a tornado before Rainbow Dash and some other pegasus ponies rescued them.
“I really wished we didn’t saw this pony ever again.” Rarity rolled her eyes, not even caring about Lightning Dust seeking revenge.
“Seems that we’re in trouble now!” Fluttershy told her friends, becoming nervous.
Rainbow Dash and her friends know that there’s no escaping from the more powerful and more vicious Lightning Dust. The evil pegasus flattened more vehicles and destroyed more buildings with her eye beams, killing more residents.
“Oh, look who’s shown up. Rainbow Dash and her friends!” Lightning Dust stopped herself and notice her rival and her rival’s friends appearing in her way. She was rather surprised seeing Rainbow Dash yet again since the last time they encountered each other.
“Lightning Dust, I thought you I tied you up through one hoof and that you disappeared in the sky where nopony would see you again.” Rainbow Dash told Lightning Dust.
“And you expect me to believe that I was actually gone forever?” Lightning Dust laughed, seeing that Rainbow Dash lied about her disappearing permanently. “You sure are mistaken, and I have been waiting for this day where I would get revenge on you for what happened when we saw each other the second time! Now that Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have given me more power, I’m beyond your level, therefore I’m the strongest pegasus there is!”
Twilight Sparkle and her friends react in shock over what Lightning Dust just said to them.
“Y-You don’t mean you are…?” Applejack asked with a worried expression on her face, seeing that Lightning Dust didn’t tell her and the others what she was plotting.
“Oh, I do, and I’m working for Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon now.” Lightning Dust replied, revealing that she is doing a favor for Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon. “I can really see this dream happening where my powers would surpass Rainbow’s!” Lightning Dust sees her dreams becoming like what she expected for a while.
“Great, now we have other villains working for those stupid corrupted alicorns so they can get revenge on us for what we’ve done to them in the past!” Rarity said in frustration. “This is unacceptable!”
Despite the bad news, Rainbow Dash and her friends still put themselves in a fighting position where they know that it is the time they step up and stop Lightning Dust right now.
“Lightning Dust, we’ll defeat you, with everything we have!” Rainbow Dash told Lightning Dust with a serious look on her face, having herself ready for the fight against her arch-nemesis. “I don’t care what you say! I’m the fastest pony alive!”
“But can you and your friends keep up with my power?” Lightning Dust asked, wondering if Rainbow Dash and the others can handle her immense size.
In a very heated battle, Rainbow Dash and her friends face themselves against her nemesis, Lightning Dust, who is definitely not holding back, anyway whatsoever.
For Lightning Dust, she wanted to take aim at Rainbow Dash first, since she is her top enemy.
“You shall suffer my wrath first, Rainbow Dash!” Lightning Dust yelled as she fired laser beams from her eyes, targeting Rainbow Dash as her first opponent.
Rainbow Dash gasps in shock and quickly flies up before the blast could hit her. Her friends also dodged the incoming attack and none were hurt either.
“My, you sure are fast dodging that one, but let us see if you like having me in the air right along with you!” Lightning Dust flapped her wings, which pushed the other ponies back as her wingpower was at maximum level.
“This pony is basically getting more tougher and powerful…” Rainbow Dash told herself, reading her opponent’s power and seeing that they have no limits. “I know I can fly faster, but I don’t believe I can stay on course with her strong attacks knowing her size gives her more strength and it can do more damage compared with my own attacks, which won’t work on her.”
Unbeknownst to Rainbow Dash, Lightning Dust appeared right behind her while she has been thinking. She saw Lightning’s huge shadow looming over her, and she turned around with a very shocked expression on her face.
“What? How the hell did you sneak up like that without me noticing?!” Rainbow Dash asked Lightning Dust, seeing that the larger pegasus can catch them off-guard when they are not paying attention.
“Fooled you, didn’t I?” Lightning Dust laughed, finding it funny that she would trick Rainbow Dash into believing that she would not appear from behind her enemies. “You’ve been so busy talking to yourself, and I just believe that I’d get closer towards you from behind you and that you can’t see me until you look back directly at me.”
“You can’t trick me any damn further!” Rainbow Dash backed herself away from Lightning Dust, already figuring out what the latter is actually scheming.
“You wanna bet on that?” Lightning Dust asked before she started flying again.
Rainbow Dash was stunned when she just saw Lightning Dust move before she could even get a chance trying to outsmart the evil pegasus.
“Got you now!” Lightning Dust said, preparing for a devastating attack on Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash turns her whole body around, but Lightning Dust smacked her down hard with her hooves, although she managed to stay up using her wings.
“Rainbow Dash!” Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie react in shock, witnessing Rainbow Dash getting herself up after an unexpected, fatal attack coming from her enemy.
“I never thought Lightning Dust could’ve been anywhere this strong…” Rainbow Dash breathes hard, finally seeing that she is not wrong about Lightning Dust getting revenge in a much more better way. “I’ve always came out on top compared to her. Lightning does not have a single thing on her damn mind!”
“Don’t get the wrong idea, Rainbow. You have no idea what you are even talking about over there.” Lightning Dust interrupted Rainbow Dash from speaking any further.
“Huh?” Rainbow Dash looked confused on what Lightning Dust meant.
Nevertheless, Lightning Dust began her full explanation for Rainbow Dash, saying, “When me and you were fillies a long time ago, I have been the best pegasus, and I was already a high-class pegasus before you could you. I kept winning until the time when you won the fifth and final race. When we met for the first time at the Wonderbolts Academy, we’ve been on good terms until you accused me of having your friends caught in a tornado, and I got kicked out the academy for that reason!”
“Got anything else you wanna say, Lightning?” Rainbow Dash questions Lightning Dust, wondering if she’s finished with her explanation.
“I’m gonna get my revenge and defeat you, right now!” Lightning Dust said before charging at Rainbow Dash with full power, promising Rainbow Dash that it will be last time living and her life ends today.
“I’m not dying today, and I can’t give up! Not today, not ever!” Rainbow Dash told Lightning Dust as she flies out the way before Lightning Dust could strike her in a single blow.
Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity and Fluttershy are all feeling concerned for Rainbow’s safety as the battle the between her and Lightning Dust was so intense, yet too frightening to watch.
“Is she really gonna be alright dealing with Lightning Dust on her own?” Pinkie Pie asked Twilight Sparkle, wondering how she feels about the fight going on.
“I really hope so because she’s trained hard her entire life and I believe that she’ll win, no matter how big Lightning Dust is.” Twilight Sparkle answered Pinkie’s question.
“Come on, Rainbow! You can do it! Defeat her with full power and full strength!” Applejack shouted and cheered for Rainbow Dash.
All five ponies cheered for Rainbow Dash and they hope she wins in the end.
Rainbow Dash, overhearing the shouting and cheers down below, was looking serious and she decided that it was time she finishes things off.
“Okay, Lightning Dust, this is where I defeat you once and fall!” Rainbow Dash told Lightning Dust, letting her know that she must end everything for good and as long as she has friends on her side, she can defeat the giant evil pegasus. “I got something up my hoof you won’t even recognize until I show you!”
“Don’t make me laugh, Rainbow Crash! You can never defeat at the size I’m at! It’s not possible!” Lightning Dust smirks at Rainbow Dash, refusing to believe in her.
Lightning Dust started going behind Rainbow Dash and once again fire eye beams at her. When they came closer towards Rainbow Dash, she ducked at the right time before the attack could strike her.
“You can’t keep doing this forever!” Lightning Dust said Rainbow Dash, reminding her that surprises can’t work on giant ponies such as herself.
However, Rainbow Dash was already behind Lightning Dust, and she began powering up, transforming into her Rainbowfied state, making her stronger and giving her more special powers as well.
“Why do I feel like something’s shining behind me?” Lightning Dust wondered where this light came from. When she looked back, she saw Rainbow Dash in a form like never before.
Lightning Dust was surprised, seeing Rainbow Dash acting more serious now.
“What… is that transformation?” Lightning Dust asked, curious to know what this power is all about.
“This is my Rainbowfied power!” Rainbow Dash told Lightning Dust, explaining her reason over her transformation that she has never showed Lightning Dust before up until this day. “It gives me more speed, and a boost in power, everything! This is over for you!”
“How could you be so strong like this and you never told me you’ve been hiding power this entire time?” Lightning Dust still doesn’t know why Rainbow Dash is always powerful.
Rainbow Dash was confident that she can stop Lightning Dust with her powers that she has not used in a while. “I fight for my friends!” She said as she started charging at Lightning Dust with super speed, flying around her, making her completely dizzy until she could not fight anymore.
“Alright, I say now’s the time she pulls off something even greater.” Pinkie Pie suggests Rainbow Dash uses a finishing blow on Lightning Dust while she’s defenseless.
“Rainbow, we need the Sonic Rainboom! Perform it now and use it on Lightning immediately!” Applejack shouted.
Rainbow Dash hears the voices from her friends down below yet again, and knows what she must use to finish her enemy for good.
“Okay, here it goes!” Rainbow Dash flies upwards and then comes straight down with her two front hooves connecting with each other, and then, she unleashed her Sonic Rainboom, hitting Lightning Dust in the process.
“No! No! This can’t be!” Lightning Dust screamed as she hit by the Sonic Rainboom, which started making her shrink until she was a regular size pony again.
All the ponies, as did the citizens, clap and jump with with excitement cheering for Rainbow Dash becoming victorious in the end. Lightning Dust was falling to the ground more faster. Luckily, before she could touch the ground, Rarity activated her magic and levitate Lightning Dust carefully just right before she can hit the ground.
Rainbow Dash flies down and see her friends again. As Lightning Dust attempted approaching Rainbow Dash, knowing she wasn’t done, she heard police sirens, which means the police of Berlin are coming.
“Give it up, Lightning Dust! You know you lost the battle, and you’re gonna end up in jail right away!” Rainbow Dash tells Lightning Dust that there’s no point in fighting any longer.
The police cars have arrived and the police officers got out where they saw the suspect they must capture.
“You with the orange mane and tail, put those hooves in the air where I can see them! You are under arrest for attacking these citizens and destroying the city!” One police officer warned Lightning Dust that she must turn herself in and do what is told.
Though angered, Lightning Dust was left with no choice except surrender and admit defeat, seeing that tonight was not what she thought would be. She places her hooves in the air, and didn’t say a thing when the police officers placed handcuffs on her hooves, taking her away and put her in jail for the crimes she caused.
Lightning Dust glares at Rainbow Dash with full hatred as she was being taken to custody.
“Phew, good thing you won, Rainbow.” Fluttershy told Rainbow Dash, hugging her for winning the fight against the giant evil pegasus.
“Hey, no problem. It was all with the help from you girls.” Rainbow Dash told her friends, who appreciated her for letting her accept the support from them so that she would have an easy chance defeating Lightning Dust.
The Mane Six laugh as everything in Berlin, Germany became more nice now that Lightning Dust is gone.
It might have gotten difficult from the start, but in the end, it was Rainbow Dash who gained the upper hoof against Lightning Dust using a new power like she has not used in a long time. She was really happy that defeated her rival tonight.
But are the Mane Six prepared for the next fight with another foe that may approach elsewhere around the world?
