While exploring her new reality in the crystal mirror, Twilight meets her sons.

Been a minute (And by a minute, I mean a month) since I’ve uploaded a major drawing. Life has been riding me like a horse, pun intended. But I’m back just in time for the Mother’s Day season. And I thought i’d be fun to explore this little idea I came up with for Twilight.

To recap once again, Twilight is summoned to the Crystal Empire to examine the Crystal Mirror, which has suddenly become unstable. While investigating, she is whisked away to an alternate anomaly, where she never became an alicorn princess and is instead living the life of a devoted housewife and mother. She is married to Flim, one of the Flim Flam brothers (to her initial disgust). The two run Golden Oak together, which is now a bookstore, and most notably, they have two sons: Cash Flow and Comet Sweep. Cash is intelligent and inquisitive like his mother but business-savvy like his father, while Comet takes after his father in terms of appearance but shares his mother’s sense of curiosity. He has also yet to get his cutiemark by this point in the story. Meanwhile, Spike, Cadance, and Shining Armor attempt to contact Twilight in order to bring her home.

That’s about it. Twilight is often portrayed as having daughters so I thought i’d be interesting to give her some boys for a change. I actually based this on the fact that Tara Strong has two sons in real life. Cash and Comet did appear in previous drawings of this story, but I wanted to showcase them more here.
