Deep down in the basement, Smolder looked around at the dusty boxes and cobwebs caked around the room. The dragon was disgusted with what she could see. It was even grosser when she stepped on one of the cobwebs that was on the floor. She was having second thoughts about helping Spike to clean up the basement.

Just then, Smolder noticed something odd about her arms. Her claws were starting merge together, it looked more like they were becoming points. It wasn’t just happening to her claws, it seemed her feet were also suffering this fate. Not just them, but even her wings looked like they were splitting apart to give her four extra appendages.

Through her panicked state, Smolder finally saw the room was getting bigger. No, that couldn’t be right, with her body changing like this she had to be getting smaller. Additionally, Smolder’s eyes seemed to double with two more growing above her regular ones, then they doubled again with four more growing underneath her originals.

At last, Smolder had stopped shrinking now that her transformation was complete, making her a full spider. She knew that she was now going to be stuck here for a while. She did kind of like being fuzzy and the web could make a good hammock. She could just chill out down here until somebody went to check on her. Maybe she could spin a message in a web to help get some attention.
