i wanted to draw the spouses of the cmc, but i realized only one of them really needed to be drawn considering how i paired them up… and so i meant to include diamond with the cmc. but considering how they just seemed like such a trio, i opted for these guys to be their own separate group. so, here they are!

diamond tiara grew up in a very pampered household, though with a lot of rules and restrictions that placed many stressors on her that she had a tendency to inflict on others. she was a kind pony at heart, just with a few struggles she just couldn’t quite shake. but into adulthood, the lady kicked herself to do better. and alongside her wife, applebloom, she started a foundation to help those lost as she and her friends once were find their way! she’s a little embarrassed of the success of her business, but she couldn’t be prouder of it too.

while her best friend may have been able to shake her parent’s grip on her, silverspoon wasn’t as lucky. while she was dedicated to her studies to become a business mare, as her family intended. even she was weak to the rebellious feelings, as one day she would slip into an accidental pregnancy with her close friend featherweight. though she loves her son, silver has always had a hard time straying away from her parents. and as such, married featherweight and, publicly, decided to raise their son together. and though she… loves featherweight. it was true to being an accident, and the mare has always looked to what’s beyond the window to explore herself passed al her family’s influence.

sweet featherweight.. the poor guy has always had dreams and aspirations of being a photographer, but it would be a lie to say he had to give up on it for a while to work a much less interesting job in order to prove himself a good father for he and silver’s son. featherweight’s a quiet guy, who likes to sit and listen, watch and look for the beauty in it all. but he’s also easy to bring down, and he’s had to work very hard to feel he’s worthy of being… all of who he is. it’s still a work in progress, but he’s trying, and that is truly what matters most.
