“what time is it?” Dawn wondered, looking up at the sky.
“I don’t know… why do you ask?” Talon Feather said, flapping his wings.
“I have to meet the Adventure Squad and 1:00 today! We’re gonna do something big!”
“Ugh, why do you hang out with them?” Talon complained. “They’re just a bunch of babies! And you’re not exactly the motherly type… why do they even wanna hang out with you?!”
“What can I say, Kids love me!” Dawn grinned as she stretched out her wings and shot off into the sky.
“Catch ya later, Talon!”
“I don’t know… why do you ask?” Talon Feather said, flapping his wings.
“I have to meet the Adventure Squad and 1:00 today! We’re gonna do something big!”
“Ugh, why do you hang out with them?” Talon complained. “They’re just a bunch of babies! And you’re not exactly the motherly type… why do they even wanna hang out with you?!”
“What can I say, Kids love me!” Dawn grinned as she stretched out her wings and shot off into the sky.

"So, what awesome adventure are we gonna do today?" Dawn asked, sitting around a picnic table with the rest of the squad.
"We didn't do roll call" Jasper spoke up.
"Uh, there's only four of us," said Honey. "I think we'd notice if there was someone missing"
"You never know," Novi said with a serious expression.
"UGH!" Dawn rolled her eyes "Novi, here, Honey, here, Jasper, here and Dawn, that's me," she said hastily. "Now, what awesome adventure are we going on today? any ideas?"
Novi and Honey shook their heads.
"We could go into the woods" Jasper suggested.
"But those aren'e even REAL woods! It's just a vacant corner of Sweet Apple Acres!" Dawn complained.
"We could go into the real woods", Novi said, eyes widening to emphasise the word 'real'.
Honey gasped. "you mean..."
Novi nodded.
"I've got it!" Dawn yelled. "The castle of the Two Sisters! My mom took me there once! Let's go!"
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Jasper asked, a twinge of nervousness in his voice.
"Come on, Squad!" Dawn said enthusiastically. "Honey and Jasper have the brawn, Novi has the brains, and I'm the leader who can also fly! Together, we'll be unstoppable! To the Castle of the Two Sisters!'
"To the Castle of the Two Sisters!" the rest of the squad echoed, spurred on by Dawn's pep talk.
"You know the way, right?" Honey said.
Dawn shrugged. "Eh, I'll figure it out. How hard can it be?"
The four little ponies trudged along.
Japser and Novi looked around.
“Have I seen that tree before?” Honey said. “Dawn,” she called, “I think we’re going in circles!”
‘We’re lost” Novi said matter-of-factly.
“Whaaaat?” Dawn said nervously. “We’re not lost! I know exactly where… ok, fine we’re lost.”
“Reaaaaally lost” Novi added quietly.
Suddenly, the ponies heard a rustling in the bushes.
“What is that?” Honey whispered.
Dawn’s ears went on alert, and Jasper arched his spine.
“Run.” Dawn said, hushed. Then loudly, “RUN!”
Japser and Novi looked around.
“Have I seen that tree before?” Honey said. “Dawn,” she called, “I think we’re going in circles!”
‘We’re lost” Novi said matter-of-factly.
“Whaaaat?” Dawn said nervously. “We’re not lost! I know exactly where… ok, fine we’re lost.”
