When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 16 - Madrid is in Danger! Lyra Kidnaps Humans!
Summary: When Twilight Sparkle and Rarity find out that an evil giant Lyra Heartstrings is causing havoc throughout Madrid, Spain, they need the help from Bon Bon to break Lyra free from Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon’s control.
The next afternoon, Twilight Sparkle goes out on an adventure with her friend, Rarity, tagging along as they visit Madrid, Spain. Keeping an eye out for anyone that might have been evil already at this point before the two could arrive, Twilight and Rarity must be prepared.
“Wait, you and Pinkie fought a giant evil pegasus pony in Guangzhou last night?” Rarity asked Twilight Sparkle, having a shocked look on her face, wondering if this is true.
“That’s right, and I defeated her, too!” Twilight Sparkle nods with a very relaxing tone.
“Oh, sounds like good news, darling.” Rarity was happy that Twilight Sparkle, as usual, finished the job with defeating the evil ponies and other creatures who always try and destroy every city completely.
While walking through the streets of Madrid, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle sat on a bench and talk for a bit, and neither seems to mind it at all.
“You know, what’s funny is that I am paired up with you again after you had an adventure with Pinkie Pie and I was already paired up with you before Pinkie Pie was next.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, recalling that the alicorn brought her along today after just only two days ago.
“I actually wanted Applejack coming along with me on my next journey, but i couldn’t find her in time, so instead I found you.” Twilight Sparkle replies, having not detected Applejack anywhere last night and that she was left Rarity for the second time as a pair.
Rarity feels sorry for Twilight Sparkle, putting her hoof around Twilight’s neck, telling her with advice, “Aww, don’t be looking so gloomy, darling. You tried the best looking for her, but at least you can try looking for her again after later tonight.”
“Thanks, Rarity.” Twilight Sparkle accepted Rarity’s words, still seeing there’s another chance where she can get Applejack to come on her next adventure.
“And from what I’ve heard, you did so great defeating those evil giant ponies and non-ponies the past few days with the help from your other friends, even when I was assigned as your partner the first time in San Francisco.” Rarity said, praising Twilight Sparkle for her great performance and effort as always.
“And even if I didn’t had anypony keeping me company, I feel like I could defeat those evil giants on my own.” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity, thinking about doing the task with stopping the evil giant ponies and other creatures on her own.
“Huh? What do you mean you can defeat evil giants alone?” Rarity asks Twilight Sparkle, looking confused what the latter meant.
Twilight Sparkle decides to make things clearer for Rarity, saying, “What I mean is, when I feel like doing the job alone for a while, I still wanna hold on tight to my success and promise you and the others that I can make it out alive.”
“You sure that you can fight the evil giant ponies and other type of creatures alone?” Rarity was not on the same page with Twilight Sparkle, worried for the latter’s safety when she does the mission solo.
“I have no problem doing this mission on my own.” Twilight Sparkle tells Rarity that she is able to handle the current journey without her friends soon.
“Hmm, I respect your opinion, darling…” Rarity said.
Even though Rarity and Twilight Sparkle are feeling bored doing nothing, that it all changed when they heard people fleeing and screaming on the streets, and it means that someone must be attacking the city.
“Just when I thought this would happen yet again…!” Rarity complains that it is another day dealing with a giant evil pony once more.
“And that’s not all, look!” Twilight Sparkle points her hoof and showing Rarity that there’s another pony coming, and she was running, approaching closer towards them. She has something very important to tell the ponies.
Bon Bon, who has made out alive, is bringing in the news for Twilight Sparkle and Rarity, which would not be a good one anyway.
“Twilight, Rarity! Good grief you two are here!” Bon Bon was breathing hard, and surprised that she would find the two ponies in time. “Anyways, good afternoon!”
“Bon Bon, never thought we’d see you.” Twilight Sparkle was surprised that Bon Bon would be making an appearance like today, and this was something the former herself didn’t thought about. “Anyways, why are the people running and panicking? Can you help explain, please?” Twilight Sparkle asked Bon Bon.
Upon hearing a question, Bon Bon explains the two ponies about the current situation, claiming, “The citizens are panicking and running away because my best friend, Lyra Heartstrings, has been attacking Madrid, the city where we are in now. I saw her and she was very huge, acting all evil! Her eyes were red, and she almost attacked me when I tried stepping in to save the tinies from her destruction.”
Rarity and Twilight Sparkle react in shock over what Bon Bon has just told them, as they knew that another pony has been turned evil.
“You mean that Lyra is under the dark spell Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker have placed on her?” Rarity asked.
Bon Bon nods her head in an agreement, afraid that this was true. “Sadly, yes…” She responded, not telling a lie.
“Darn, this is bad…” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity, seeing there’s another problem that they need to solve.
“But that is not just the only thing bad thing happening. Lyra has even kidnapped humans as she continues her havoc throughout Madrid, and I couldn’t do anything to stop her from capturing the humans and placing them on her back where they can’t escape!” Bon Bon reminds both Rarity and Twilight Sparkle that Lyra Heartstrings is also planning on keeping humans for herself.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity are feeling confused about why Lyra Heartstrings is behaving so mean and harming all the innocent humans.
“Why would Lyra want to capture people for fun?” Twilight Sparkle asked Bon Bon about Lyra Heartstrings kidnapping the citizens is such a good idea, at least for Lyra herself, since this is what she likes doing anyway.
“Lyra captures humans because she likes them.” Bon Bon replied, letting Rarity and Twilight Sparkle know that Lyra Heartstrings has been interested with humans for a long time, something nobody ever understands. “Lyra loves humans, and this has been happening over a decade.”
“Over a decade?!” Twilight Sparkle and Rarity questioned with confused expressions.
Regardless, the people are in danger and Twilight Sparkle, Rarity and Bon Bon must prevent the giant evil Lyra Heartstrings from destroying Madrid any further, as well as kidnapping more humans, much to her satisfaction.
“Wherever she is, we gotta stop her!” Twilight Sparkle stood up, knowing that the people are in trouble and they must get moving immediately.
“Bon Bon, would you mind helping us out, please?” Rarity asked Bon Bon, hoping she can tag along with them and stop Lyra Heartstrings from terrorizing Madrid completely before it is too late and everyone will be gone forever.
“Don’t worry, I’m always happy assisting anypony whenever danger’s around.” Bon Bon offered her help for Rarity and Twilight Sparkle and all they find the evil giant unicorn who is still destroying Madrid.
Elsewhere within the city, Lyra Heartstrings continued rampaging, stomping, crushing and destroying buildings with her hooves and with her magic, which was also red. She was absolutely enjoying it and she sure was satisfied with everything, especially kidnapping every single human she has collected so far.
“More humans, more humans!” Lyra laughed evilly, crushing more vehicles underneath her huge hooves as she was on the hunt for more humans she could capture.
“Everyone, run before she catches more of us and places us on her back!” One man yelled as he was still running away from the giant evil unicorn monster who has been causing terror throughout Madrid.
Lyra Heartstrings was definitely in a mood grabbing more tinies with her magic, even though they did not like it at all. “Oh, you can’t escape from me!” She warned the tinies, already knowing that they can’t hide from her. “I must do Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon a favor, and that favor is to destroy you humans and capture you all so they can be happy!”
“Run!” The same man screamed, ordering the others citizens to hurry up and run faster.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t escape from Lyra Heartstrings long enough because her hooves stomping the ground shook louder and they soon realized that she quickly levitated some humans with her magic and bring them closer towards her.
Eleven tinies have been captured and they are screaming and terrified as Lyra Heartstrings laughed evilly and placed them on her back along with the humans she previously captured earlier.
“I will collect every human, and then there won’t be anybody that can stop me!” Lyra cackles as she keeps walking forward with every step she takes.
Where all hope seems lost, buildings and vehicles have been caught on fire, people are dying as the giant evil unicorn, Lyra Heartstrings, is still going wild, promising that she will eliminate humanity, just like what Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon would want anyway.
As Lyra was having a calm and relaxing mood, she didn’t realize she heard a noise, which must have hit her back hooves while she was strolling in search for more humans to catch.
“Hmm?” Lyra wondered, stopping herself and then she looks down seeing that Bon Bon is back, alongside Rarity and Twilight Sparkle.
The three ponies are angry with Lyra Heartstrings for the destruction she caused, and it looks like they all wanna fight her, even though she is not in the mood for it.
“Get out the way, Bon Bon!” Lyra demands that Bon Bon steps aside and let her continue having fun destroying the city and people as much as she wants. “I gotta continue searching for more humans.”
“No, you are kidnapping anymore humans!” Bon Bon yelled, running after her fallen best friend who is on the dark side, standing before her. “I am Bon Bon, and I’m not letting one pony, especially one who has been my best friend from the start, get away with hurting these kind humans and destroy this city and further! I’ve had it!”
“Says the one who’s nowhere near the size I’m at!” Lyra laughs in a cruel manner, ignoring what Bon Bon was telling her.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity still notice that the tinies are on Lyra’s back and there’s a chance where they can rescue the tinies while Lyra is confronting Bon Bon, because Lyra is not looking at Rarity and Twilight Sparkle.
“Okay, Rarity! Time we save those tinies that are up on her back, now!” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity.
“Right. I’m on it!” Rarity responded.
Both ponies levitated all the tinies, bringing them down and they suggest that all the tinies who they have rescued leave immediately before Lyra Heartstrings spots them. Every tiny who has been captured ran way in time, and appreciated Twilight Sparkle and Rarity for saving them in time.
“If you won’t step aside, I guess I do gotta destroy you.” Lyra told Bon Bon, having no choice except destroy the friend she has cared for the most. “We’ve known each other for so long, Bon Bon, but now’s the day where you must be gone, forever!”
Rarity and Twilight Sparkle notice that Bon Bon is in trouble as they must do something.
“Darling, you gotta help her because Lyra is almost about to kill her with her magic, and she needs your help! Fast!” Rarity warned Twilight Sparkle that Lyra has her magic at full power and she will destroy Bon Bon instantly unless Twilight Sparkle interferes.
“Oh, no! I gotta make the move!” Twilight Sparkle teleported herself just as Lyra fired her magic towards Bon Bon who started backing away.
Bon Bon was nervous that it she would be meeting her fate. However, before the magic could strike her, Twilight Sparkle teleports herself in front of Bon Bon, and created a barrier, protecting themselves from Lyra’s dark magic.
The magic bounced in a different direction, somewhere unknown.
Bon Bon was so glad that Twilight Sparkle came in saving her from death, and that she is still alive at the moment Twilight would deal with Lyra Heartstrings right now.
“Princess Twilight, good job stepping in on time!” Bon Bon appreciates Twilight Sparkle for being the heroine and protecting her from Lyra’s magic beam, which could’ve killed her if Twilight Sparkle didn’t make it in time.
“No problem, Bon Bon!” Twilight Sparkle said, always liking it when she saves others from near death, no matter what the price was for her friends staying alive afterwards when they have been saved. “However, I’ve been friends with Lyra before, too! I’m gonna be taking over for now!”
“Alright then, I’ll leave this one for you!” Bon Bon walks away, and allows Twilight Sparkle finishing the job and deal with Lyra Heartstrings right now.
Lyra Heartstrings was angry that Twilight Sparkle has ruined her plans, and took all the humans away from her that she captured this whole time. She swore that she will destroy Twilight with her magic.
“See, what you did? You’ve ruined everything! Now I’m gonna make you suffer for that, Twilight!” Lyra was enraged, losing her calmness and was in an angry mood.
Twilight Sparkle dodges the incoming magic beam attacks from Lyra as she fired every single blast at her, but kept missing each time.
“Will you stay still and let me kill you?!” Lyra screamed.
“You gotta catch me first, Lyra! I’m never gonna give up so easy!” Twilight Sparkle kept on flying, and then flies up upwards, which results in Lyra firing her magic up at her, though she was still unsuccessful.
Soon Lyra was so exhausted she couldn’t fire any more magic beams at Twilight Sparkle. Just then, she saw Twilight Sparkle charge at her with her super magic beam attack, which was at times ten.
“Take this!” Twilight Sparkle fired her super magic beam attack at Lyra Heartstrings, hitting the latter in the chest.
The magic blast damaged Lyra Heartstrings, pushing her back a little.
“How could I be beaten, even when I’m huge?” Lyra Heartstrings wonders how Twilight Sparkle is so powerful and she can keep up with how powerful giant ponies and creatures are. “This should not be… possible…” She said as her final words before she collapsed and fell on the streets.
And with Lyra Heartstrings defeated, she returns back to a regular size pony, and the dark spell disappeared, meaning she is on the good side again.
Bon Bon, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity all check in on Lyra Heartstrings, seeing she’s knocked out cold and her eyes and mouth are both closed, therefore she couldn’t talk at this point until the next few days.
“Another mission accomplished!” Twilight Sparkle was excited that she has defeated Lyra Heartstrings and break her free from the darkness controlling her.
“However, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are not done with turning everyone else evil before we can arrive elsewhere.” Rarity reminded Twilight Sparkle that the two evil corrupted alicorns are still hiding somewhere around the world searching more others that will end up on the dark side, or someone they have already turned evil before.
“I already know that.” Twilight Sparkle has been aware of this for a while.
Bon Bon was worried that she has to start her relationship with Lyra all over again, since Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have turned her evil and made her a villain like them.
“Rarity, Twilight, you two can continue on with looking for the others that those two corrupted alicorns will turn evil.” Bon Bon told Twilight Sparkle and Rarity, letting them proceed forward with their journey while she deals with her own situation about her best friend, Lyra Heartstrings.
“Okay, we’ll let you take of Lyra.” Rarity said as she and Twilight Sparkle walk away from Bon Bon, letting her stay with the unconscious Lyra Heartstrings.
Bon Bon picked up Lyra, and she has to take her to a hospital around the city.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity resume the adventure protecting more cities that will be under attack as Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon will turn more friends and allies who have been helping Twilight Sparkle and the rest evil with a dark spell they are still carrying out.
Can Twilight Sparkle and her friends continue the success with saving cities around the world?
