A relatively recent image from my Equestria dreamscape. As their relationship has grown Applebloom and Stone Mane have learned to count on each other. Both in the Waking World and the Dream Realm, and they’ve learned to trust each others abilities and skills.
Now Stone Mane is hardly helpless in either realm, but compared to Applebloom he can seem rather underpowered. This has caused AB to be a bit overly protective of her stallion. The result is sometimes during expeditions out into the Waking World or the Dream Realm Applebloom can end up having a rather hair trigger. Often enough that Stone Mane is now unfazed by the sudden and dramatic appearance of Biblically Accurate Applebloom.
