When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 9 - Spitfire on the Loose! Fighting for Miami!
Summary: Spitfire turns evil and is a giant once again, and she targets Miami as the city she will set on fire with her hooves. The Wonderbolts and the Mane Six must fight her to break her free from the darkness that is controlling her, otherwise they will never have the captain they once have had for a long time.
Two days later, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are enjoying the nice weather in Miami, visiting the Hilton Miami Downtown where they sitting in chairs where a swimming pool is.
“Man this a good day relaxing for a vacation in Miami!” Rainbow Dash said, having her usual shades, which are black. “No matter what weather we get in this city, I’m still loving this city so much!”
“Hmm, that sure does seem fitting with your personality.” Fluttershy compares the weather in Miami with Rainbow’s hobby.
Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack giggle a bit over this.
“I’d be wondering why this city just stays hot every month and every year.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, looking so confident about the temperature in Miami mostly hot and that it almost never gets so cold, unless it is raining, of course.
“Technically, it is because Miami and Hawaii are the only tropical states in the United States, and the cities within the two states are usually hot.” Twilight Sparkle replied.
“Oh, I never knew that was a fact at all.” Rarity appreciated Twilight Sparkle for some advice.
Pinkie Pie is seen reading a magazine. The first topic was about music, which made her feel so warm inside. “Music, music, music… It is really great where I can sing my heart out just right now, everypony!” Pinkie Pie told her friends, as she was in a good mood where she can sing at this time.
“Um, we prefer you didn’t sing outside, thanks.” Rainbow Dash suggests Pinkie Pie doesn’t sing any songs, even her own songs.
“Why not?” Pinkie Pie asked her friends, wondering why they won’t let her sing anything.
“We all rather just relax, spend some time and having some being calm.” Rainbow Dash answered Pinkie’s question. “Besides, in Miami, people enjoy relaxing frequently, and it helps out with the problems they are having.”
Pinkie Pie didn’t look sure about what Rainbow Dash meant when she said the people relaxing more often has anything to do with the problems they would need fixed.
“Boy, I could sure use some sunscreen on my hooves.” Rarity said.
“But you didn’t bring any, and we don’t have any for you, either, I’m afraid.” Applejack told Rarity, and Rarity was looking disappointed that not a single pony carried sunscreen with them as they would visit Miami today.
Rainbow Dash and her friends really love relaxing at the Hilton Miami Downtown hotel as it was the place where they can relax and spend some time chilling. Unfortunately, this happy scenario was cut short as Rainbow Dash saw the Wonderbolts flying in the sky through her shades, and it appears they need to talk with her and her friends about something.
“Look, the Wonderbolts are coming!” Rainbow Dash told her friends, being excited as usual when her fellow Wonderbolts arrive.
“Hey hey!” Twilight Sparkle cheers with happiness while waving her hooves in the air.
The Wonderbolts came down nicely with a good landing, and are happy seeing Rainbow Dash and her friends again just after a few days the last time they met each other.
“Welcome back, Misty Fly! Welcome back, Soarin’! Welcome back, Thunderlane! Welcome back, Fleetfoot!” Rainbow Dash says all the Wonderbolts’ names who are present at this time, hugging them one at a time.
Even though the Mane Six are excited, the Wonderbolts still had to bring in the news that isn’t something Rainbow Dash would be happy about.
“We got some bad news, everypony.” Thunderlane told Rainbow Dash and her friends.
“And what is the bad news?” Applejack asked, wondering what is considered not good at this time.
“I’m afraid Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have taken control over the leader, Spitfire, once again!” Misty Fly reveals the news for the Mane Six that Spitfire has turned evil for the second time.
Rainbow Dash and her friends react in shock when they have heard that Spitfire becomes a villain, falling victim for another one of the dark magic spells that Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have created.
“What?!” The Mane Six looked worried.
“Yes, that is right. Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have Spitfire leader under their control when we confronted them an hour ago.” Fleetfoot said.
Soarin’ starts his speech, explaining the full reason about what has happened: “The last hour ago, around 11:25 in the morning, when we found Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker in Miami, walking through the streets, they targeted Spitfire, and placed her under a dark spell, making her a villain just like they are. Worse, they transformed her into a giant.”
Fleetfoot continues from where Soarin’ left off, adding, “We Wonderbolts fought the evil giant Spitfire as we did before, but us four ponies weren’t enough as the darkness within Spitfire grew stronger every second during the battle. When it got out of control, we decided that must retreat, and we did.”
“Though we escaped unharmed, but the civilians in Miami have been attacked and Spitfire is still somewhere around this city, causing destruction.” Thunderlane finished the full story about what happened earlier.
Angered and upset over what the two corrupted evil alicorns have down with the Wonderbolts’ captain, Rainbow Dash would track Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker down.
“That does it! I’m gonna catch Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon wherever they are!” Rainbow Dash promised that she is going after both Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon and teach them a lesson.
“I’m afraid Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are already gone, Rainbow Dash.” Fleetfoot told Rainbow Dash.
“What? Damn it!” Rainbow Dash shouted in frustration that the two corrupted, evil alicorns already escaped Miami and they have gone to a city where the other ponies can’t figure out at this time.
“Great, Spitfire is the main problem again, just like how it was before in Philadelphia.” Applejack remembers the last time the Wonderbolts fought an evil Spitfire.
And right now, time was wasting and the Mane Six and the Wonderbolts must stop the evil Spitfire before everything in Miami gets destroyed because the citizens in the city are under attack, and everyone are suffering from Spitfire’s wrath.
Elsewhere in Miami, the giant evil pegasus Spitfire terrorizes the people even more in the neighborhood known as Brickell. Buildings have been caught on fire, and people tried the best surviving Spitfire destroying Miami. Even so, people tried the best getting out of buildings that been set on fire.
Spitfire stomped on multiple buildings with her hooves, destroying and crushing them until nothing was left. She then fired laser beams coming from her eyes, sending it towards other buildings, which ended being destroyed.
“Even if you can try and hide from me, I have greater chances knowing where you are running because escaping from an evil pegasus like me, Spitfire, would prove useless.” Spitfire laughed evilly as she fired more laser beams at even more buildings, either destroying them and having them caught on fire once more, much to her satisfaction.
Spitfire was having so much fun that she only wanted the humans dying underneath her hooves and that everything in Miami’s neighborhood being absolutely extinct. Her eyes are red, her body was darker than usual, and the evil inside her grew more powerful. Spitfire was one pegasus so large who can’t be touched.
People have still kept trying the best they could avoiding the destruction that the evil giant pegasus pony has been causing over one hour now.
“Where’s the help? Where are the heroes?” Asked one woman named Clarissa Linda Thornton, who looked unsure where she should be going while the rampage is ongoing. However, before she could try and run away, she heard the ground below her shaking her like an earthquake as Spitfire stomped her way through the streets.
The woman, aged 43, screamed in horror as Spitfire saw her down below, and thus, she became the the next target for the evil giant pegasus pony. Helpless, she could do nothing, even attacking the giant pegasus with only her fists will not change that.
A man saw the woman in danger, and so he intervened and protect the woman from the dangerous and powerful pegasus pony.
“Now I can kill two humans at the same time!” Spitfire cackled, firing a laser beam at the two humans, both them man protecting the fearful woman who was initially the only target before the man stepped in.
“Dodge!” The man told Clarissa as he saw the blast coming right at the two.
Clarissa and the unnamed man both jumped out the way before blast could kill them instantly, and though they narrowly missed it, they still survived, they turned back at Spitfire, who was getting more angry as she saw them still alive.
The man grabbed Clarissa’s hand, as they must look for someplace safe in time before the giant evil pegasus pony can finish them off.
“Where the hell do you two think you’re going?!” Spitfire raised her voice as she stomped her hoof to the ground in anger just as she fired another laser beam from her eyes at both the man and also Clarissa.
Clarissa and the man kept running as fast on their feet as much as they could.
“Let’s hurry up! This pony is after us, and I don’t wanna die!” Clarissa cried as she feared that she may end dying.
“Then don’t let go!” The man warned Clarissa that as long as she holds onto his hands, Clarissa will remain alright and stay alive forever.
Spitfire fired more eye beams from her eyes at the two humans, but as she kept on doing so while walking, Twilight Sparkle teleported herself and created a barrier dodging the attacks Spitfire has had for the humans.
Twilight Sparkle was not the only heroine around, her friends and the Wonderbolts are also with her, staying on her side, knowing they care for her.
“Spitfire, stop hurting these humans!” Twilight Sparkle demanded that Spitfire refrains from attacking the humans. “Don’t you understand that you are letting the darkness take control over you and that you are doing Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon this favor for them?! Kill the humans and wipe out a single city?”
Spitfire laughed as she raised up a hoof near her mouth.
“So? I allowed them to turn me evil again.” Spitfire replied, having no interest in Twilight Sparkle is telling her that is clearly right. “You forgot that I am the Wonderbolts’ leader!”
“Not when you are evil!” Fleetfoot protested.
Annoyed as Spitfire glares at the Mane Six and the Wonderbolts with hatred towards them all, she had no choice except fight all the ponies who stood in her way.
“If you aren’t gonna stop, guess we gotta force you!” Rainbow Dash stood up against Spitfire, deciding she should deal with Spitfire first. And though she was the smaller one, she still was the fastest pony alive.
“You really wanna fight me, Rainbow?” Spitfire asked Rainbow Dash, never imagining that Rainbow Dash would dare challenge her until now. “So, intriguing, but I guess it can’t be helped, then… Come on, show me what you have!”
“This will be over quick!” Rainbow Dash said before she charged at Spitfire with full speed.
Before Rainbow Dash could try and fly around Spitfire, however, Spitfire hit her and send her back down to the ground.
Fleetfoot, Misty Fly, Soarin’ and Thunderlane all gasp in shock as they watched Rainbow Dash hit like that.
“How dare you?!” Thunderlane said in anger, witnessing what he just saw.
The remaining four Wonderbolts charged at Spitfire all at the same time, but when they came very close towards her, she smacked them away, pushing them back as she knew they weren’t a match before her last time and they still are no match for her again now.
“Damn, she’s so powerful!” Fleetfoot was breathing hard and she forgot that Spitfire can’t be defeated with poor attacks like kicking and hitting, which are not the right techniques for this one.
“But we can’t give up. We must work together and find a way on how we can bring Spitfire back on the good side again.” Thunderland told Fleetfoot, as there’s no point in losing the battle. “Remember what happened last time when she knocked us out unconscious before in Philadelphia? So we cannot let that mistake happen twice!”
“We understand that.” Misty Fly said.
Despite still having some fight left in themselves, Twilight Sparkle stands in front of her friends, deciding she should finish the job, and get Spitfire back on the good side again.
“Girls, stand back! I got this!” Twilight Sparkle warned her friends that they will make things worse if they try and help her at this time. “This job’s all mine, and I have an idea, which is what I need that will finish Spitfire.”
The girls and the two Wonderbolt stallion stepped aside and allow Twilight Sparkle doing the thing she has to get done right.
“Well, well, well. Somepony who’s actually more determined that she can stop me.” Spitfire said just as she saw Twilight Sparkle ready for the battle against her.
“Spitfire, this ends now!” Twilight Sparkle told Spitfire, just as she flapped her wings and fly in the air, knowing who the enemy is. “You’ll be dealing with me, and only me during this time!”
Accepting whatever Twilight Sparkle said, Spitfire fired laser beams from eyes and sending them towards Twilight Sparkle, although she quickly dodged them before teleporting.
Spitfire was confused where Twilight Sparkle just go for a few seconds until she heard Twilight Sparkle call out for her name, and when Spitfire turned her head around, she looked surprised and saw Twilight Sparkle behind her and charge at her with a super attack.
Twilight Sparkle unleashed a super magic beam attack at Spitfire, which eventually hits her in the chest, damaging her.
“D-Damn it! Damn it!” Spitfire yelled while she was in pain from Twilight’s magic beam attack, and she struggled standing up on four hooves as it the blast damaged her some. “I can’t stand up…”
With her balance unstable, Spitfire collapsed to the ground, therefore, she was defeated, and soon she started shrinking and reverting back to her regular size.
The Mane Six and the Wonderbolts all cheer as they saw Spitfire freed from the darkness and that she is on the good side. They all checked in on her and realized that she was knocked out cold, and her eyes were closed, and she couldn’t talk.
“I’m happy that Twilight defeated Spitfire for the second time and saved her from the evil that would’ve took control over her forever.” Rainbow Dash said.
“The nightmare in Miami is officially finished!” Pinkie Pie jumped with excitement.
“Now don’t get so excited, Pinkie Pie!” Thunderlane reminded Pinkie Pie that she must not get so happy now that they Spitfire back on the good side. “Just because we’ve completed the mission today, that doesn’t mean Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are gonna keep targeting all the friends and allies you have had for all these years.” He added.
Fleetfoot stood to the left side of Thunderlane, telling the Mane Six, “He’s right. Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker are still on the run, seeking for more ponies and creatures you’ve made friends with and turn them evil and make them villains just like how they are.”
“But how do we stop them, though?” Fluttershy asked, wondering if there’s any way they can stop the two evil alicorns from turning everyone evil and become antagonists.
“The only way you and the others can stop Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon is when you spot them, just like how we did.” Misty Fly answered Fluttershy’s question, giving her the best option that will help, at least for now.
“I don’t know how we are gonna catch those two evil alicorns in time because they will disappear before we can find them.” Applejack felt unsure about this.
“Yeah, because they’ll use a portal into another city and another country where we can never locate them at, not even teleporting is gonna work at this time.” Rarity said, seeing that Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon can vanish before anyone can find them.
However, Soarin’ tells Rainbow Dash, saying, “We know that Daybreaker and her sister are so difficult tracking down, but you must believe in us, okay?”
Rainbow Dash nods her head in an agreement with what Soarin’ is telling her that is very important and she and her friends must do whatever they can looking for the two evil alicorns anywhere around the world.
“You six ponies can resume the journey and watch out for anyone that ends up under the influence of the dark magic Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon are carrying out. We gotta send Spitfire to a hospital.” Misty Fly told the Mane Six, letting them move on with what they must accomplish.
“Understood, ma’am!” Twilight Sparkle responded as she and her friends waved goodbye at the Wonderbolts.
Later that night, Twilight Sparkle and her friends visited the Hilton Miami Downtown hotel for the second time, discussing plans about how they can save the world from their friends who will turn evil by Daybreaker and Nightmare Mon with dark magic.
“How do we achieve success and capture Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon?” Rarity asked Twilight Sparkle.
“Remember, if we can spot them in time in the same city where they have a friend we’ve known under their control, that might work.” Twilight Sparkle answered.
“Are you sure about this?” Applejack asked.
Twilight Sparkle was confident, and knows that this plan must work correctly, having been taught this from the Wonderbolts earlier that afternoon.
“Alright, we agree with you, Twilight!” All the ponies said with excitement.
While the Mane Six are celebrating victory for freeing Spitfire from the dark magic spell, they still must resume the journey tomorrow and must save the others who will end up on the dark side once Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon use a dark magic spell on them.
Are the Mane Six able to stay on course with saving everyone and that they may find Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon in time?
