The fabulous Azure-Art-Wave helped me figure out the design of Prairie Angel so a big thank you to her!
 
Meet Prairie Angel, the daughter of Braeburn and Wrangler! After Wrangler passing when Prairie was only a filly, Braeburn was left a single dad who took his job of raising their daughter very seriously. When he wasn’t taking care of Prairie Angel, he was working to make sure she had everything she needed. Fortunately, if he ever needed help, there were always ponies to assist. If Braeburn was working too hard to make ends meet, Prairie would usually spend the night at Star Spur and Raspberry Glaze house, and have sleepovers with their daughter Rhubarb Pie. It was Raspberry Glaze that got Prairie Angel interested in the rodeo, leading to her receive her cutie mark in rodeo performing! She is a sweet and quiet mare, only her performing persona being extremely excitable and boisterous.
 
Meet Cashew, the son of Pistachio! After years of raising Prairie as a single father, Braeburn met Pistachio, who was also a single father taking care of Cashew. Having more experience, Brae gave Pistachio all the helpful tips and tricks he learned over time, which Pistachio was extremely grateful for. As two dads who’s worlds revolved around their children, they had plenty to bond over and eventually became a herd family. Prairie and Cashew were more than happy to become ‘siblings’, and Prairie Angel tends to treat her little brother like a best friend even with the age difference between them. Cashew is silly and playful, but also knows when one most act more serious. He grew up with an intense nut allergy, which Pistachio always hovered over him about it. He takes almost nothing seriously except for his allergy, which he’s always prepared for with an epi-pen hidden in his hat.

Just for clarification, Braeburn and Pistachio are in a queerplatonic relationship! They live together, help raise each other’s kids, spend time as a family, etc. They have a very strong emotional bond, but they are not a couple ^^
