Due to their actions in saving Canterlot High from magical threat after magical threat, the Rainbooms have become the most popular girls on campus, garnering the undivided attention from nearly every student and faculty member. However, there is one male student in particular who wants the seven girls to give him undivided attention. That being, Chick Hicks. he has developed a crush on all seven girls and wants them to be his girlfriends join his racing team, knowing that dating all of the school’s saviors at the same time would cause his popularity to skyrocket. Unfortunately, the Rainbooms collectively see him as just some creepy guy due to the way he stares at them in the hallway and at lunch. Knowing he’ll never be able to approach them naturally (throwing a wrench in his plan of asking them out to the Spring Fling dance that Friday), he is forced to take desperate measures to win his dream girls. Stopping at a gypsy’s shop after school on Friday, he has the gypsy cast a spell on him that will make the Rainbooms (and the Rainbooms alone) fall desperately in love with him the moment they lay eyes on him. He knows this may be wrong, but if it is, than he doesn’t want to be right….

On the night of the Spring Fling, Chick Hicks stops by Carousel Boutique as he knows the girls will be in there preparing for the dance. Sure enough, the Rainbooms (minus Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, who were busy that night) are in the boutique, putting on dresses, accessories, and (in the case of some) make-up. Seizing the opportunity, he walks into the shop and says hello to get the girls’ attention. The quintet turn around to face him and the moment they lay eyes on him, their eyes morph into multi-colored hearts with pink pupils, signifying that the spell has taken effect. Now completely attracted to the boy in front of them, the five girls begin gushing over how good he looks, how strong he must be, and Applejack even asks if he’d be okay with dating all five of them at once; seven if she can get Twilight and Sunset on board. The student, of course, agrees to this, much to the bewitched girls’ delight…

A little while later, Chick Hicks exits the boutique with Rarity in his arms (the fashionista having ditched her large white boots in favor of purple flats in order to make herself lighter), Fluttershy clinging onto his right arm, Rainbow on his left, and Applejack and Pinkie Pie trailing closely behind them, the former texting Sunset and Twilight to meet them at Sugarcube Corner the next day to meet their new ‘collective boyfriend’. Chick Hicks gives a content smile to himself, knowing that he and his six lovers are going to be very happy together….
