Attack on Night Light II - Episode 3 - Destruction for the Third Straight Night
After yet another defeat from the monstrous unicorn known as Night Light the previous night in Yokohama, the next morning, Hayato and his friends, Rina, Daichi, Kenji, Saburo, and Akari have now relocated themselves to another city, Osaka.
Everyone was feeling very upset over the destruction that occurred yesterday. Hayato and his friends have figured that things keep getting difficult every time they fight Night Light.
“Man, that unicorn sure is beast! And I mean he’s a true beast indeed!” Daichi told his friends, banging his fist on the table as he could not stand every look on Night Light’s face, knowing what the unicorn’s true plans are. “I’m telling you, he’s just gonna keep being victorious in the end and this is because how big he gets!”
“Calm down.” Kenji comforted Daichi, the latter looked more annoyed for the fact that Night Light has been more stronger since his defeat in the United States. “There’s nothing we can do right now.”
“But we can’t just let this evil unicorn continue causing havoc all over the country.” Rina said, as they must understand that if they keep letting the giant evil unicorn continue destroying more and more cities in Japan, the entire country will be wiped out.
Hayato agreed with Rina’s words standing right by her side.
“She’s right. Night Light has already attacked two cities for two nights in a row.” Hayato reminded everyone about the previous battles in Tokyo and Yokohama. “We must figure out how we can stop Night Light from destroying everyone and everything in Japan.”
Hearing the words from Hayato, Akari stepped in, explaining, “Like he said, we must use something use as weapons because the katanas are not gonna work on him at all. We’ve tried that twice and it did absolutely nothing.”
“Hmm, how about a shrink ray?” Kenji asked a question for his friends.
“Okay, but first, we must first search for a scientist around this city and see if they have a shrink ray, and then we must determine what the results will be once we grab one.” Hayato said, suggesting they walk through Osaka and visit a scientist who has a shrink ray with them.
Minutes later, the group has walked through the city, and still has not searched for a single expert with a shrink ray. However, onto Akari’s left, Kenji looked at a house, saying Dr. Kikuchi’s name written on the top.
“Hey, this is Dr. Kikuchi’s house.” Kenji showed his friends that Dr. Kikuchi may be inside his home.
“Do you know anything about Dr. Kikuchi?” Daichi asked Kenji, wondering whether or not Kenji has anything in common with the scientist.
“Honestly, I have known the scientist for years since I was young, and he helped me learn things in his science class during elementary school back in the old days.” Kenji answered Daichi’s question. “Me and him last saw each other when I graduated from high school.”
And so, Kenji takes himself as the leader and leads everyone else following himself just as he knocked on Dr. Kikuchi’s door, hoping he can get an answer from him.
For a few seconds, they all have been silent and then Dr. Kikuchi looked at the group outside his home and he opened the door, seeing that his old friend, Kenji, is back.
“Kenji! Long time, no see! Come on in!” Dr. Kikuchi said with excitement and allowed Kenji and his friends into his house. Kenji was still in the front and his friends followed behind him as they get the chance to meet the scientist for the first time.
When Hayato and his friends look inside, they are look surprised and see Dr. Kikuchi has multiple shrink rays and other science-related items, like potions, for example.
“Alright, take a seat if you would want.” Dr. Kikuchi offered the group a chance where they can sit down whenever they feel ready for it. “Look around my house, I have multiple shrink rays and everything else that I use for multiple things, testing experiments and more! Oh, I never get tired of it!” He laughed.
Hayato, along with his five friends, sat down on a chair and they all listened carefully and answer a question he has ask to them all.
“So, what is the problem you need help with, hmm?” Dr. Kikuchi asked.
“You see, me and my friends have been dealing with a giant evil unicorn named Night Light, and he has been killing people and destroying buildings in Tokyo and Yokohama.” Hayato explained his reason for Dr. Kikuchi. “We need a way on how we can shrink him!”
Dr. Kikuchi thought about that for a moment and then he replied, telling Hayato and the others, “Don’t worry, I have a shrink ray that’ll eventually shrink him.”
Everyone cheered and clapped their hands. However, they soon realized that the scientist was not finished yet, as he still had some more explanation.
“To make him shrink, you must press the top button where it activate and when you see him, be sure you hit with the shrink ray and do it at the right time, otherwise he will remain a giant where he is now.” Dr. Kikuchi added.
“Alright!” Daichi said with a very proud look on his face, seeing that Dr. Kikuchi giving him and his friends will help him defeat Night Light.
Despite feeling very eager they can leave now, Dr. Kikuchi suggested everyone would stay with him for a while, knowing that he has something important to tell them.
“Just a few hours ago, while I was watching the news this morning, I’ve heard that the evil unicorn, Night Light, will be approaching this city around nighttime, so I need everyone staying with me until night arrives.” Dr. Kikuchi makes his statement clear that Hayato and his five friends remain inside his home for a while and put the topic about Night Light aside.
Many hours later, it was night, and Hayato, Rina, Daichi, Kenji, Akari and Saburo have been staying at Dr. Kikuchi’s house, where they tried studying some new experiments on some fresh food that the professor has had for weeks, like melon and strawberries. Some melon and strawberries have shrunk into smaller sizes while the rest grew a bit larger.
“I just love how making fruits big and smaller are giving us a difference in size with food.” Saburo told the scientist, loving the part about testing out fruits with a growth ray and a shrink ray is such a good idea.
“Clearly, it does help you all have some good ways on how things can be different in size between creatures and everything else.” Dr. Kikuchi replied.
“You know, some fruits in this country exist in the United States and also some countries, too.” Akari reminded the group that some fruits in Japan can be founded elsewhere all over the world.
“We could just eat these right now! I’m starving after all!” Kenji was getting hungry.
While everyone inside was still testing out fruits as experiments with the growth and shrink rays, respectively, someone from outside heard a knock on the door. Dr. Kikuchi walked towards the door and see who it is.
“Mind opening the door, if you would please…” Dr. Kikuchi told the person.
The door opened and it was a resident from Osaka, which is a male. He looks very scared, bringing the scientist and the others the bad news, something they all want to know.
“Come outside, quickly!” The man shouted, suggesting the group and Dr. Kikuchi hurry up and fast. “Night Light has been rampaging through Osaka and I need you guys catch up and find him, please.”
“Don’t worry, we will track that terrible beast down!” Dr. Kikuchi told the man, giving him the advice that he goes somewhere safe and not be caught at all.
Dr. Kikuchi turned his head around and look at Hayato and his friends, letting them all know they have an important mission that must be accomplished, and that is to defeat the giant evil unicorn, Night Light.
“Let’s go!” Dr. Kikuchi ordered everyone to follow him outside and search for Night Light.
As usual, Night Light has caused destruction over the city and he has killed multiple humans, either on the street or inside buildings. He continued walking through the city and crushed anything in his path.
“Don’t even try and run away from me, because I know where you try and hide, little ones.” Night Light said just as he fired a magic blast from his horn, aiming it at a building, leaving many dead.
The ones who ran quickly before being killed and being stepped on tried the best they could hiding somewhere where Night Light couldn’t find them.
Night Light laughed evilly, firing more magic beams at buildings, both directions. “There’s nothing more happy aside from killing people and destroying and crushing everyone and everything throughout Osaka.” He said as he can never get so tired from doing his favorite part.
As he continued his stroll through the city, he turned his head around and look down, seeing a young teen boy trying to look for someplace safe.
“Oh, no… It’s Night Light, the meanest stallion on Earth.” The boy said in shock, feeling horrified as the giant unicorn glared at him with hatred, knowing that the tiny human must be erased from existence for good.
“Indeed, I am a very mean stallion who must kill every single human remaining.” Night Light told the teenage boy, approaching him further as he was in another killing mood.
The boy ran and dodged the magic blast Night Light fired straight at him. He kept running on the sidewalk as he fast as he could, kicking up his feet. Unfortunately, Night Light slammed his hoof to the ground, knocking the boy down.
Night Light soon walked even closer, and it was inches towards the boy where could just simply kill the human right now by stomping on him with his hoof.
“You’re finished!” Night Light activated his magic, preparing for a finishing blow on the young teen boy.
But just right before the evil unicorn could even terminate the person, Dr. Kikuchi and the gang appear behind Night Light, with Dr. Kikuchi shouting, “Stay away from that boy!”
Having an angry look on his face, Night Light turned around and saw that Hayato and his friends have brought along Dr. Kikuchi with them, leaving Night Light more irritated, as he can’t take it anymore with these humans.
“This time, you pathetic heroes are gonna be crushed for good!” Night Light yelled as he fired a magic blast at the group, although Hayato blocked the attack with his katana.
Saburo is the one who has the shrink ray and he acted sneaky so he that the unicorn can be caught off-guard.
“Alright, do it now!” Dr. Kikuchi ordered Saburo into releasing the button from the shrink ray and that Night Light will no longer be a giant pony.
“Huh?” Night Light looked back and saw Saburo getting ready to shrink him.
Night Light fired a magic beam towards Saburo, but Saburo jumped right before it could him, and he tried the best he could getting the right chance shrinking Night Light, which isn’t exactly easy.
“Guys, he won’t let me.” Saburo told his friends, as Night Light continued firing magic blasts at him. “Everyone, help me!”
“Now’s our chance. He’s not paying attention towards us.” Kenji said, pulling out his katana and so did everyone else doing the same thing.
“Hit him with full power!” Dr. Kikuchi told the other heroes.
Hayato, Rina, Kenji, Akari and Daichi unleashed the power from their katanas, sending it directly towards Night Light. When it came towards him, it him in the stomach, making him receive some damage.
“What…? How…? That should not be possible!” Night Light struggled standing up following a super attack from Hayato and his friends’ katanas.
“Now!” Saburo pressed the top button on the shrink ray device and pointed it at Night Light, and then released it, hitting Night Light, and as a result, Night Light started shrinking, reverting back to his normal size.
Suddenly, the police officers have arrived so they could arrest Night Light for what he has done. Night Light was shocked that he would be defeated again.
“Hooves in the air! You are under arrest for attacking the people in this city, and also for attacking Tokyo and Yokohama the past two nights!” said the police officer, telling Night Light that he is trouble for the actions he has caused.
Another police officer has the handcuffs, and placed them on Night Light so that he did not break free. The police officers took Night Light away and they are taking him to jail.
“And thank you all for help saving the city from this unicorn! He’s gonna be in prison when we take him to that place.” The police officer told Hayato and his friends and Dr. Kikuchi before driving off.
Saburo was in relief that the nightmare was truly over and with Night Light gone, the city is safe and sound.
“Mission complete.” Akari said, glad that they all stopped Night Light from destroying Osaka any further. The citizens cheer for the heroes’ efforts in saving the city from being completely wiped out.
“I guess that means we can finally head home now.” Rina told her friends.
“You guys can finally leave and head back to Tokyo. The world shall be better in the future.” Dr. Kikuchi said, seeing that Japan will be in good hands when things get rebuild.
Everyone waved goodbye at Dr. Kikuchi and they appreciated him for helping them defeat the evil giant unicorn, Night Light. Hayato and his friends look at each other with a smile and see that Tokyo, Yokohama and Osaka may be back in a better way soon.
