Sunny Starscout: Legends tell that there was one little filly who was the menace of Equestria. Even the great Twilight Sparkle herself wasn’t able to reform this poor and neglected filly. Years of abandonment have forced her to search for friendship in a manipulative way. The ancient times were harsh, they used to deal justice toward malignant magical entities via petrification. I’m here to change all this, if I can undo the petrification of this filly, I will give her a new home after teaching her what friendship truly is. This isn’t the old Equestria, and the harsh magical penalties in that period of our history are outdated and barbaric.

After doing her research on Cozy Glow, Sunny searches for the petrified filly. She thinks that while there’s no hope for Tirek and Chrysalis, Cozy can be saved if she were given a second chance and a new family. Sunny eventually finds the statue of Cozy Glow in the ruins of Canterlot. Her motherly instincts kick in, and she gives a heartfelt hug to the statue while thinking about how much she’d love Cozy if she’d accept to be adopted by Sunny. With love being the highest form of friendship magic, this undoes the petrification. Cozy Glow feels baffled at first, but after seeing that many years have passed and the old Equestria that she knows is gone, Cozy finally comes to the terms that this might be her only chance of redemption. She hugs back Sunny, and the duo head home. Cozy is eager to be reformed, and Sunny and her friends are more than willing to help. Cozy even speaks highly of Twilight Sparkle and she tells that if she had understood her friendship mission at the first time, she wouldn’t have been a villain at all. This gives Pipp an inspiration, she styles Cozy’s mane in a style that somewhat resembles Twilight’s manestyle.

When Cozy’s reforming is complete, she accepts to be adopted by Sunny. When Cozy calls Sunny “mommy” for the first time, Sunny becomes aglow with a strange positive aura and she ascends to the astral plane. At there, she sees Twilight Sparkle, and Twilight congratulates Sunny on her seemingly impossible achievement. Seeing Sunny’s potential, Twilight makes Sunny’s Alicorn form permanent, and she declares Sunny as the next Princess of Equestria.
