well… time to bring back an old theory
 
since it seemed that a few people kind of pulled the idea of Chrysalis from the original story, I decided to add Chrysalis ending for “Love Poison”

The reason Chrysalis didnt recognize Cadence as her daughter was because her mind was so warped by darkness that Chrysalis and Love could be considered two completely different ponies.
 
Then again, maybe Chrysalis did recognize Cadence and sought to put her through the hell that Celestia put Love through in order to turn Cadence into a worthy heir to the Hives throne
