Canterlot & Everfree No.13 groaned and creaked as it’s brakes were applied, the engine stopping just east of the Everclear River Trestle deep within the Everfree. “I think this’ll be a good spot” Smokey says as he pulls the reverser to center and makes sure the throttle’s closed.
“I suppose” Crosby replied as the Pegasus stepped down, straightening his jacket and overalls he used to cover his injured wing. “It is a pretty spot” he said as Smokey passed down a tripod and a camera.
“Don’t I know it! That’s why I chose it!” Smokey said as the breeze blew through his shaggy charcoal mane. “Get on in position and I’ll set this up!” The earth pony said as he set the camera and hit the timer.
Smokey posed beside Crosby, placing a hoof on 13’s hoofboard, Crosby placing a hoof on his best friend’s shoulder. This was they’re first official freight run with the 122 year old Baldwhinny Ten Wheeler, and the two wanted to document it.
