This is another photoshop work I did in 2015 (or was it 2016?) During 2015, I developed an interest in Pink Floyd through the video the Dark Side of the Rainbow, which is known for practice of playing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon in synch with the 1939 film: The Wizard Of Oz. I then discovered this blog that may be gone now as far as I’m concerned called That Synching Feeling that experimented with playing movies in synch with different albums like Bambi being paired with Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell for example. I did a few of these stunts. Some of these include: Wall-e being paired with Pink Floyd’s The Wall based on what a comedian on the wikipedia page for the Dark Side of the Rainbow phenomenon, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’s Season 5 Premier: The Cutie Map with Pink Floyd’s Animals, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’s third Season 4 episode: Castle-Mania with The Fall Of The House Of Usher and To One In Paradise from The Alan Parsons Project’s first album: Tales of Mystery and Imagination, as you can see what this poster implies, Beavis and Butthead Do America with The Alan Parsons Project’s Turn Of a Friendly Card, and Pooh’s Grand adventure played in synch with Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here, The Wall, & The Division Bell. I also played Pooh’s Grand Adventure with Eric Woolfson’s Freudiana. I really enjoyed playing this episode with this instrumental and seeing how both works of media correspond with each other. You can find Alan Parsons’s Fall Of The House of Usher and To One In Paradise on Youtube and if you can find and buy/rent MLP’s Castle-Mania, feel free to play these things in synch, and feel free to practice this synchronicity concept with the other pieces of media I mentioned.
