Hey everyone,
While I work in the background on the Raven Quill project, I decided to bring back this pretty lady, seeing as she’s only been depicted by me once before.

To those who are unaware, this is Parquet Floor- a 36 year old pegasus mare who is a specialist in the design, manufacture, fitting and maintenance of the type of elegant and hard-wearing flooring she is named after, and eventually took over the family business. Originally from Prance, her family moved to Manehattan 22 years ago, and have lived and worked there ever since.
And to address the obvious, yes- she is very tall for a pegasus, and a lot stronger than she looks after many years of hard, physical work. Her flight abilities tend towards the average for a pegasus mare, but she is not particularly manoeuvrable in flight. Though she does exercise her wings and preen them regularly, Parquet prefers to keep her hooves on the ground.
However, outside of her good reputation with customers and her outstanding work ethic, she is not actually the most social of ponies, despite being a friendly, kind, and gentle mare.
Softly spoken in her beautiful Prench accent, with a smile for everypony, and a deep fear of conflict, Parquet is generally easygoing outside of work, but prefers a quiet night in, rather than a raucous party. Arguments frighten her, and fights terrify her, so she will almost always flee at the first sign of trouble.
Parquet is a mare that does a lot of DIY in her spare time, mostly home improvements in the well-appointed house that her father had built for her in the wealthy Manehattan suburbs as a gift. As an side note, much of the hard furnishings in her home were built by her personally, and they are noted to be very high quality in design, materials, and construction.
Known to be a submissive, bisexual cuddlebug, Parquet considers love to be something to be shared deeply and fully, and thus, she is rather selective in the traits she likes in a partner. Prime among these are honesty, integrity, and fidelity. She does lean a little towards a preference towards male partners, but is unbothered by the species of a prospective suitor so long as they are physically compatible.
