That’s not what is actually said in it, though – note the core point:

“A man does not need a woman to be happy.”

Which, sorry to say, is objectively wrong in most cases, because guess what? We’re a pair-bonding sexually reproducing species, and thus evolved to seek a partner and raise a family – occasional aberrant individuals (or aberrant trends, for that matter) notwithstanding.

Thing is, that, together with the bit about self-respect and self-esteem, is exactly the boiler plate “motte” of the “men going their own way” motte-and-bailey.

I didn’t even mentioned the MGTOW community. Actually, those bastards can go fuck themselves for defending and idolizing Andrew Tate, a damn swindler with a god-complex. Nobody here’s talking about it. What? We can’t do motivational images for men without being called MGTOW or Incels? Well, that’s like saying every woman who demands respect is feminazi even if she’s suffering a real problem of harassment. Or that every woman that tries to motivate their companions to don’t look for men but to be better versions of themselves is a misandric bitch.

I understand perfectly, the misogyny is becoming a problem, just like the misandry already was, but believing everyone whom tries to give an advice or motivation to the men, and implying women in the topic, is automatically a MGTOW or a misogynist is a biased view of this issues.

This image doesn’t mention to hate women, or to be an incel, or any of that. The image is trying to tell you to don’t let any woman step over your boundaries and try to tell you your value, because, as an individual, you should be conscient about your own value, having enough self-respect and self-esteem to know properly your own strenght and weakness. And so, instead of being a lap dog with the woman looking for their approval, you must be a better person, feel happy with yourself, and if you’re not ready for a relationship, then take your time; A relationship is not just pink-colored, it’s a big investment of time, money, and work between two people whom wanna share their lives together, and like everything in this life, you have responsabilities. So, if you’re feeling low because you can’t get a girlfriend, you must need to learn to love yourself first, before loving anybody else. In other words, this image is telling you: Don’t Be A SIMP & Love Yourself.

That’s it. Unless this image was made by a true misogynist with bad intentions, I think you completely misunderstood the messeage behind.

Sorry, Mr. Strong-Independent-Man-Who-Don’t-Need-No-Woman, but I’ve seen way too many MGTOW say crazy shit like women being physically incapable of loving anyone, including their own children, to not conclude that the M in MGTOW stands for Misogynist, and I’m not one to throw around the M-word lightly.

Nobody’s talking about hating women. The image just motivates men to don’t beat themselves down if they don’t have a girlfriend and don’t let other women choose their value. Where the fuck the image says if you don’t hate women you don’t have dignity or self-respect?
