As a powerful ancient alicorn who oversees the cosmos, Luna needs superpony amounts of energy to keep herself going. This means she gets hungry a lot, for a lot. Watching over Equestria’s galactic space also means that any unauthorized spacecraft are hers to deal with as she chooses. She usually chooses efficient methods of “secure disposal” that leave no messes behind.
Here we see what happened when a spaceship found itself in the wrong place, crossing paths with a hangry astral princesscorn, at the wrong time.
