Discord: …but still, all you’ve accomplished with this little conspiracy is making a great big fool out of me! And now, for all that trouble, I’m not even going to be the diabolical ruler of your world!
DM: Point of fact: The session’s not over. Can you hold on for, like, one more minute?
Discord: What, so you can dunk on your beloved D&D mentor one last time? Isn’t this what you wanted anyway? A total defeat to set up a campaign in a world of strife? Everything about this has stopped making ANY sense!
DM: I still consider you my friend. And you know me well, too. Do you really think I would’ve put in all this effort if there wasn’t a point to it?

Discord: I’ll have you know that my opinion of you is currently in flux. But FIIINE, you got me. I can’t very well leave before I see where this train lands.
