It’s a bug in the fetcher when pulling images off Twitter. This image was uploaded to Twitter as a PNG, but unless you feed the url for the image itself, the image fetcher grabs the preview which is always a JPEG, and since JPEG can’t support transparency it makes a white background and creates that chunky black outline around it.

For some reason this one and the one on the other boorus have a white background while the one on derpi has a transparent background
