Twilight Sparkle carefully opened the arms of the dividers and started moving them toward Princess Twilight Sparkle’s glowing horn and then paused.
“Um, your Highness. Is there any danger to myself or you if the metal tips of the divider touch your horn while you’re working with it?”
“No it’s alright, and can you please keep your hand still.”
The alicorn was intently focused on using her levitation magic to adjust a micrometer caliper. With that accomplished she carefully measured the girl’s left index finger. She then noted the data.
“Interesting. Your left index finger is a half millimeter shorter than your right.” Using the same levitation magic that kept the calipers levitating she floated the ballpoint pen over and recorded the data in her field journal.
