So I figured I’d give Brushes a run through and put it through it’s paces. In practice I’d call painting with my finger in brushes vastly inferior to painting on a tablet in Sai, but given that I can do it anywhere and the software was 1/10th the cost of Sai (which itself was 1/10th the cost of CS5,) I don’t feel slighted. Basically what it means is I can paint when I want to, not just when I’m at home. ^_

The one feature I miss so very badly is blending. I really like Sai’s ability to smudge the color around as I paint.

p.s getting the paintings off my iPad without tethering is non-trivial. >.<
