The color stripe on the Ovocon Labs standard issue labcoat refers to the wearer’s sector; in Nuke’s case, the yellow band signifies “Oversight,” as he is lead scientist and founder.
All labcoats have always visible, identifying cutie mark patches on both sides of the coattail, for easy identification at any hazard level.
Higher hazard levels require additional PPE that the labcoat is designed to accommodate for simple and fast donning in the event of an emergency, such as pants and headcovers. Ovocon Labs covers all repairs and replacements for its PPE, and inspections occur regularly to ensure worker safety.
