And rounding out the Cutiemark Crusaders is Sweetie Belle. I feel oddly strong about this headcanon which was a bit of surprise to me. I also had fun coming up with marking to be similar but not identical to Rarity’s.

So this is gonna take a bit of explaining. Sweetie Belle is a romantic individual, anyone from the show would agree with that. She adores the loving gestures and seeing ponies together, but I think she doesn’t actually feel attraction if that makes sense. I imagine she comes to terms with her sexuality later than the other crusaders after a string of failed relationships. She likes the idea and acts of romance and confuses this for being alloromantic. However she eventually realizes she can’t actually make herself be emotionally involved in the way a romantic partner needs.
