Meet Bunny Hop, my Gen 5 ponysona! This guy looks more like me than any other character I’ve drawn, especially when it comes to body type, new facial hair, and my irl hair color! I recently bleached and dyed my hair and that’s basically what it looks like as it fades, I love it so much.

Bunny Hop is an absolute goofball and is always listening to music on his phone, which is very much me irl. His wings are pretty itty bitty, so they are not meant for flying long-term at all. For the most part, he’s ground-bound because of his walker which he uses for chronic pain a solid 75% of the time. Bunny actually painted his walker to match Sunny Starscout’s roller skates (which is the same as my walker irl, I painted my walker to look like Sunny’s skates) and everything he owns is personalized by paint, stickers, or glitter. Oh, and he’s a HUGE fan of Pipp Petals! #Pippsqueaks

This was so much fun to draw, especially because I love having characters that embody me and are a bit easier than Techie to draw (I feel you duppydoodles and btw, your sona Lucky Charms is so freaking cute!!) And if y’all are wondering where the name “Bunny Hop” came from, it’s based off of when rabbits do binkies/popcorns and get so excited that they lose control of their body, which is 100% me whenever I get excited! It also helps that I love bunnies <3
