i kinda wanted to look at twilights life post corruption, since i rlly like the idea of her trying to adjust to modern life
 
in terms of her design, i wanted her to keep some “scars” from her time corrupted, simmilarly to my luna headcanon so she keeps her bat wings, white splodges all over her coat, and pink eyes with slit pupils.  
She also cuts her mane at some point. one of those late night mental breakdown impulses. Pipp finds her and is absolutely appalled by the messiest haircut she has ever seen  
twilight lives at the crystal bright house, mostly as a temporary thing. She very rarely leaves, and often times when she is it’s her being forced out for her own good by Sunny. She mostly, though, really doesnt want to be seen by any of the public - not just out of the guilt for what she did, but also because she fears they will put her in a position of power again. Something she does not want.  
Sunny, though not on purpose, feeds into these fears a lot. She’s just so excited to have another alicorn around, and after years of hearing stories of twilight and her friends, she looks up to her greatly. She has so many questions and Twilight has so many answers, and she sees her as someone that can help her gain control of her alicorn powers. Twilight, obviously, hates this. She doesnt want to crush her spirits, but she doesnt feel at all like she is someone Sunny should be looking up to. Most of the time she brushes her off, refusing to answer any questions… But, well, Sunny is persistent, and needs to know everything.  
Eventually Twilight will get back on her own hooves. But, for now, she’s spending her time at the crystal bright house catching up on all the pop culture she missed out on, and dragon sitting for Hitch. She won’t tell him why she knows so much about dragon care. Or why she goes teary eyed any time Sparky latches onto her.
