Original Description:
 
Story - Stranded On Daufuskie Island
 
Summary: After Hitch’s ship gets shipwrecked during a storm, he and his friends are left stranded on Daufuskie Island, a sea island in South Carolina. They must stay on the island for two days until someone can help them return home.
 
Somewhere in the sea in South Carolina, Hitch, along with his friends, Izzy, Sunny, Pipp and and Zipp, are on a ship he has made, and they are currently in a storm. Hitch was in his captain uniform, where he is the leader and holding the ship’s wheel.
 
“This is like some bad weather out right now…” Izzy felt nervous and scared, cowering herself that the weather in South Carolina would be bad today.
 
“Don’t feel so scared, Izzy.” Sunny comforted Izzy that things would be alright, even if the day would be stormy like Izzy predicted. “There’s five ponies together on a huge ship Hitch created himself a few days ago, and I promise not to let the worst go any further into you.”
 
“I feel like I’ve experienced the worst weather in my entire life.” Pipp told Zipp, as she heard lightning and rumbles from the clouds above.
 
“Things should not be this bad.” Zipp looked just as nervous as her younger sister was, having the same situation that they consider is a nightmare. “I just wish our mother was with us…”
 
Although almost every mare was anxious, Hitch, on the other hand, was acting more brave, taking control over ship’s wheel. “Okay, don’t get so carried away about the storm.” Hitch reminded his friends that they should try and not talk about the weather and should instead focus on something else.
 
“But how else can we be so comfortable when there’s clearly a storm?” Zipp asked Hitch, still anxious about the weather that’s happening while they are on a ship in the sea.
 
“Come on, everypony, we should be fine.” Izzy hugged Zipp so the latter would be feeling more relaxed despite the bad weather happening right now. “Um, things are just okay as is, right?” She asked.
 
Sunny and Pipp nod and agree with Izzy, and so did Zipp afterwards.
 
“I can’t tell where we are going.” Hitch said, as it was so dark out, he couldn’t tell where he and friends are heading for. “Let us regain some relaxation, please.”
 
“If the sky was blue, it would’ve been easier to tell where we are heading.” Izzy said, wishing the day was better.
 
“Sometimes I’d just hate how someone controls and you end up getting shipwrecked when you are on a boat.” Sunny recalls from a time that in reality, people’s boats and ships end getting shipwrecked in storms, and she believes the same thing might happen with Hitch.
 
Minutes later, the Mane Five have finally looked relaxed. However, suddenly a lightning bolt striking near the ship caused Hitch to lose control over the wheel.
 
“Wh-what was that?” Izzy asked as the ponies felt nervous following a lightning strike.
 
“Oh, no, the ship’s gonna turn!” Hitch warned the ponies, as he looked down and saw the ship tilting over slowly, and the five ponies are panicked in horror.
 
“Everypony, hold onto something!” Sunny told her friends as they all grabbed on something safe for as much as they could before they boat fell over.
 
Izzy was almost crying, saying, “Please, no, I don’t wanna let this happen…! Please, somepony help us!”
 
“This can’t be happening!” Zipp said as she was dangling from the ship’s left side, holding onto dear life for as long as possible while the storm is currently in effect. “Pipp, I love you so much as much as you care for me.”
 
“The ship’s falling!” Hitch shouted as the ship turned over even further. Worse, when the boat turned over upside down, the five ponies fell out of the boat, and into the water they go.
 
The ship eventually hit a rock, which resulted in the ship sinking and never return to the sea again.
 
Hitch, Izzy, Sunny, Pipp and Zipp, in the water, kept swimming up and up and that they could only swim as the ship sunk into the water. The next day, during the morning, Hitch and his friends woke up and it turns out that they are actually on an island with a house going with it.
 
“Is everypony okay?” Hitch asked the mares, as the storm last night hit hard on them. “It seems we’ve just landed on an island.
 
“But the ship is gone!” Zipp stood up and realized that Hitch’s ship could no longer be seen anywhere. “Great, without the ship, we can never go back into our own world!” She cried while feeling frustrated at the same time over the loss of Hitch’s ship.
 
“That means we are stranded on this island forever.” Pipp cried as there was no one that take them back home now that the ship is gone permanently.
 
“Hey, come this way.” a voice called out from behind the ponies.
 
Sunny and her friends followed the way where the voice was spoken and they realized it was a woman in her summer-themed clothes and it looks like she wanted to help them with the situation the ponies are in right now.
 
“Who are you?” Izzy asked, wondering who the lady is.
 
“The name’s Melissa Cartwright.” the woman introduced herself as Melissa Cartwright, who has been residing on the island over a decade now. “I’ve heard that you ponies have been involved in a shipwreck last night during a thunderstorm.”
 
“That’s right.” Sunny told Melissa, as she and her friends could not find any chances returning home again, until someone can find them, perhaps a sailor, captain, or whoever can. “We are stuck on this island because the ship me and my friends have been on sank into the water, and we really need help, please.”
 
Melissa comforted Sunny, who was looking sad, and she told, “I know how you feel, but there’s nothing I can do that can get you and the others ponies home. You must stay on this island for two days, or else you’ll never be able to return to your own universe.”
 
“What? Two days?!” Hitch looked shocked over what Melissa just told him and his friends. “We can’t handle being stuck on an island for two days! That’s crazy!”
 
“I’m afraid this is the choice we have, Hitch and we gotta stick with it.” Zipp warned Hitch that they can’t do anything except staying on the island for two days and wait for somebody that can bring them home again.
 
“What a drag…” Hitch complained, as he had to do the boring things again.
 
Nevertheless, the ponies walked and followed behind Melissa as she led them into a house where they would be safe for now. “Come on in, and I’ll be happy to cook you something delicious!” She said with thrill.
 
Inside the house was a kitchen and a living room. And in the kitchen, Melissa baked cookies for all the ponies in the kitchen where the oven is. About thirty minutes later, the cookies are finally done, and Melissa took them out the oven, and served them to the ponies, which she was sure would cheer them up.
 
“Chocolate chip cookies for every single pony!” Melissa said with excitement towards the ponies watching Izzy using her magic and give her friends a single cookie, even for herself.
 
“Man, I remember my grandmother baking cookies when I was younger.” Hitch said, recalling the time when his grandmother made him cookies during the old days when he was a young colt. He was happy that he would cookies again.
 
“This is making us feeling better!” Sunny looked more happy just as the ponies are, now that the cookies are bringing them back to being happy.
 
Pipp, Zipp and Izzy said nothing while eating cookies, and they appreciated Melissa for baking them cookies, and Melissa said, “What better way than sitting back and feel relaxed is having some cookies that will make the sadness go away.”
 
“I guess we can stay in this house until tomorrow, right?” Sunny asked Melissa.
 
“That is um… correct.” Melissa told Sunny, as it is currently Day 1, and Sunny and her friends would not leave not the island until tomorrow morning, in which someone will arrive on the island and bring them back.
 
Hitch told Pipp and Zipp just as he placed his hoof on chest, “Oh, my, looks like we can have a sleepover tonight!”
 
“I wanna throw pillows at you in the living room.” Pipp suggested that she and her sister have a pillow fight when they get up the stairs, and Hitch eventually agreed with this, hoping he is not the pony who gets hit with the pillow.
 
However, Melissa was listening to this conversation and warned the ponies, telling them, “No pillow fights in this house, please! That is prohibited!”
 
The ponies feel gloomy over not being allowed to have a pillow fight in the house Melissa was in, and if any of them started a pillow fight, Melissa would kick whoever out of the house and they would be forced to sleep outside.
 
“Come on, please?” Pipp begged Melissa to allow her and her friends having a pillow fight in the living room.
 
Sadly, Melissa ignored Pipp’s protests, saying, “I told you that the answer is no, and you and the others are not having a pillow fight. And those that try and pillow fight, are gonna be kicked outta the house and sleep outside until tomorrow morning!”
 
Feeling threatened from Melissa’s words, Sunny and her friends had no choice but accept it or they will suffer the consequences if they refuse to do so.
 
“Okay, we won’t do any pillow fights.” Izzy promised Melissa that she and her friends won’t do any pillow fights during the night. “I’m gonna make myself the “Izzy Promise” for the night!” She kept her hooves crossed.
 
Melissa then walked away, having nothing to say any further.
 
Later that night, Izzy was sleeping on the couch in the living room with Hitch, Sunny was sleeping on one chair, Pipp sleeping on another chair, and Zipp was sleeping on the floor.
 
“I hope that someone will arrive and take us home.” Sunny told her friends, remembering what Melissa told her earlier that day. “This is a long painful road ahead.”
 
“Don’t worry, everything’s gonna be alright.” Hitch replied, knowing that a certain someone will arrive and will bring them back home as a promise. “Tomorrow’s the day where somebody can return us home.”
 
Afterwards, all the ponies started sleeping for the night and wait until the next morning and leave the island for good. The next morning, the ponies are outside waiting for someone making an arrival to take them home.
 
“See anyone?” Zipp asked her friends, wondering if anyone has arrived yet.
 
However, the other ponies didn’t see anyone coming yet, and they looked disappointed no one has come yet, and sat down looking gloomy. An hour later, they saw a sailor on his boat approaching the island.
 
“Hey, this way!” The ponies yelled, getting the sailor the attention as loud as possible.
 
A sailor soon saw the ponies waving them and needed him to get them off of the island. “Ahoy, someone needs my help!” He said turning his boat around.
 
“He’s coming!” Izzy told her friends, watching the sailor come towards the direction where she and friends are. Moments later, the sailor got off his boat and walked towards the ponies, who are in need leaving island for good.
 
“So, how kids, what do you need help with?” The sailor asked, wondering what problem the ponies are having.
 
“You see, sir, me and my friends ended up in a terrible storm two days ago and we really need the help from you on getting us home, please!” Sunny told the sailor, letting him know what has happened from two nights ago, and they have been stuck on the island for two days and they can’t stand being on the island any more.
 
“Alright, kiddos, hop on the boat and I will kindly take you back home as I promise.” The sailor told the ponies, and they followed him on the boat. “This’ll take a long way home, folks.”
 
The sailor soon started moving his boat again, and he promised that he will take them back into the world of their own. Sunny and her friends, now excited, are seeing a new day be the better one compared with the last one.
