I won’t give you shit because you are clearly /ourguy/.

And by that I mean you’re posting on a website I haven’t be banned from despite saying what I really think. So I can overlook some cringeflags.

Well thanks anyway for showing how the thought process of people like you work. It’s hysterical to see how much people take fictional ponies so seriously and get offended by the people who draw them. If this drawing wasn’t for you maybe you’d be happier with my catalog of stallion cocks ? I’ve got a lot of that !

You take yourself waaaaaay too seriously here.
“I know what you are, but what am I?”

I’m not going to dignify the rest of that bullshit with a proper response.

You could really choose to not associate yourself in those spaces where those people frequent if you have such a problem about it. Don’t know why continuing to go against it is the hill you want to die on, especially when you’re trying to make a point on a pony image board.

You take yourself waaaaaay too seriously here. Especially your response to me talking about cock, in a joking matter.

This has to be the most shittiest explanation for wanting to know a person’s gender, you realize how retarded this sounds right? If you’re going to make this point reword it that doesn’t sound like, ‘it’s on the same level of trust as buying a car’.
So I’m the one who wants to ‘know a person’s gender?’ Are you sure it’s not the case that the weirdos in question want me to know? Y’know, since they never fucking shut up about it?

As for the car bit, that was simply intended to illustrate the concept of social trust; the point being, I’m not interested in reaching accommodations with somebody that I feel is lying to me upfront. Also, if you’re going to call my points retarded, you might want to work on that grammar of yours. Just a suggestion.
Look if you want to know if the person has cock or other, man, you can’t get offended by the answer because you’re the one that stuck your nose in their business and then tell the person they’re wrong.
I never said anything about genitalia. Stop trying to put words in my mouth, and read what’s actually in front of you.

So you agree that lashing out at people for refusing to vaildate your ‘gender identity’ is a clear sign of mental illness.

I’m saying these kinds of people with identities have mental illnesses, do not get surprised when this is the case as you talk to them.
it’s often necessary to ask intrusive questions about people’s identities; this establishes a veneer of social trust, without which vital economic exchanges would be impossible. After all, you wouldn’t buy a car or rent an apartment from somebody you found to be untrustworthy, would you?

I find it objectionable cause you’re the one choosing to instigate this ‘deranged behavior’ and get so shocked when that’s the reaction you get from clearly mentally ill people.
So you agree that lashing out at people for refusing to validate your ‘gender identity’ is a clear sign of mental illness. Good to know.
Also what the fuck does this even mean, I had to read this more than once.
The point is that, whether we like it or not, it’s often necessary to ask intrusive questions about people’s identities; this establishes a veneer of social trust, without which vital economic exchanges would be impossible. After all, you wouldn’t buy a car or rent an apartment from somebody you found to be untrustworthy, would you? The meaning of the question seemed fairly obvious to me. Perhaps we don’t speak the same native language?

The rest of that comment is gibberish, and I’m not going to use any more of my time attempting to respond to it.

I’m not validating their behaviors at all but don’t poke the vicious bear. Also yes I believe people concoct identities because they’re entitled to do so, why not? Free world, could give less of an absolute shit for them doing so. Having a open mind gives you less care about what other people are doing in their own times. Especially for discussions such as sexuality, identities, etc.

How is that any different from what the government and insurance companies do on a daily basis?

Also what the fuck does this even mean, I had to read this more than once. What the hell are you spewing on about?

This conversation brings to mind a quote from an old Hollywood movie (I don’t recall which one); it’s something to the effect of “you got caught up in thinking about whether you could do it, when you really should’ve thought about whether you should do it.” Needless to say, I think that assessment applies here.

@DSStoner
that sounds like a problem that mostly occurs with you specifically cause you choose a lot to bother them with questioning their identity
I can’t speak for the other guy, but I can certainly attest that obnoxious, deranged behavior is far from a rare occurrence with these people. And furthermore, what do you find objectionable about ‘questioning their identity?’ How is that any different from what the government and insurance companies do on a daily basis? Don’t you agree that it’s possible (and even commonplace) for people to concoct fake identities for all sorts of reasons?

@Amagan
it’s an ‘accomplishment’ to myself because I have an answer to a question I’ve asked years to myself of what I am and I like to be open to what it was. To those who make it their whole identity, that’s their business. Not mine. So why should I care so much about what they do with that information? Why should you as well? Takes a lot off my mind to not even pay any attention to them. With the last question, that sounds like a problem that mostly occurs with you specifically cause you choose a lot to bother them with questioning their identity. Thank you for mostly being civil about your questions at least.

@DSStoner
Alright, so why is something like sexual identity treated like it’s some sort of accomplishment that actually had to be earned by working hard for it?

Better question, why do some people treat their sexual identity as if it was the most important, and sole defining aspect of their entire existence, rather than it being just one more facet to them overall?

An even better question. Why do folks like this, act like others disagreeing with that perceived importance is somehow invalidating their existence and telling them they deserve to die?

because I’m able to? I don’t know how you want me to respond to that man. I can publicly talk about what identity I am, people can have opinion about it as much as I can respond to it.

me coming out about it is for ME to talk about it. Not for everyone around, it’s for me specifically. I am talking about my identity because ‘I’ am the one speaking approving myself and accepting myself. Not for anyone around.
