So I’m the one who wants to ‘know a person’s gender?’ Are you sure it’s not the case that the weirdos in question want me to know? Y’know, since they never fucking shut up about it?
 
As for the car bit, that was simply intended to illustrate the concept of social trust; the point being, I’m not interested in reaching accommodations with somebody that I feel is lying to me upfront. Also, if you’re going to call my points retarded, you might want to work on that grammar of yours. Just a suggestion.  
Look if you want to know if the person has cock or other, man, you can’t get offended by the answer because you’re the one that stuck your nose in their business and then tell the person they’re wrong.

I’m saying these kinds of people with identities have mental illnesses, do not get surprised when this is the case as you talk to them.

Perhaps we don’t speak the same native language?

I’m not validating their behaviors at all but don’t poke the vicious bear. Also yes I believe people concoct identities because they’re entitled to do so, why not? Free world, could give less of an absolute shit for them doing so. Having a open mind gives you less care about what other people are doing in their own times. Especially for discussions such as sexuality, identities, etc.
 
How is that any different from what the government and insurance companies do on a daily basis?

This conversation brings to mind a quote from an old Hollywood movie (I don’t recall which one); it’s something to the effect of “you got caught up in thinking about whether you could do it, when you really should’ve thought about whether you should do it.” Needless to say, I think that assessment applies here.

I can’t speak for the other guy, but I can certainly attest that obnoxious, deranged behavior is far from a rare occurrence with these people. And furthermore, what do you find objectionable about ‘questioning their identity?’ How is that any different from what the government and insurance companies do on a daily basis? Don’t you agree that it’s possible (and even commonplace) for people to concoct fake identities for all sorts of reasons?

it’s an ‘accomplishment’ to myself because I have an answer to a question I’ve asked years to myself of what I am and I like to be open to what it was. To those who make it their whole identity, that’s their business. Not mine. So why should I care so much about what they do with that information? Why should you as well? Takes a lot off my mind to not even pay any attention to them. Better question, why do some people treat their sexual identity as if it was the most important, and sole defining aspect of their entire existence, rather than it being just one more facet to them overall?
 
An even better question. Why do folks like this, act like others disagreeing with that perceived importance is somehow invalidating their existence and telling them they deserve to die?
